Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell congratulated Democrat Joe Biden on Tuesday, calling him the president-elect and saying the Electoral College “has spoken.”

And by the way Dave, if you think it’s delusional to think Trump will be President for the next 4 years, tell it to the President. Trump hasn’t conceded yet. Quite the contrary. Maybe he’s delusional also. Personally, I don’t think he is.
Wall Street is euphoric. Everyone is happy with the results. An old impotent senile man who is controlled by China and will abandon Trump’s trade wars. Check. Republicans controlling the Senate to block Democrat tax cuts. Check.
Even Melania and Trump’s family is happy. Trump gets to say he wuz robbbbbed the rest of his life and remains a cult hero to 73 Million. He can go back and run his business, run a new media empire, write books, give speeches, or just retire and play golf (he deserves it!). Winning the White House has been very hard on the Trump family.
I know the President is pissed and hates losing but if he had to lose and it was always a possibility because simple demographic change (a lot of his 2016 votes in the Rust Belt have died, moved to Florida, or were Democrats who simply hated Hillary more than Trump and Biden was acceptable to them and swung back). And Arizona and Georgia are swinging left hard because of Californication and New Yorkification.
I’m old. Everything hurts. I’m not allowed to quit till I’m dead. I enjoy a few things. The equation is balanced, 50-50.
A powerful place to be.
The Constitution gives me nothing. It simply recognizes what has always been mine.

Are you really surprised? Mitch and 90% of the GOP will go back to sitting on their hands while the leftists ruin the country. the only reason they didnt anything to begin with was Trump kicking them in their fat behinds.
Schumer already knows he won’t be Majority Leader after the 20th.

Exactly, and that it would eventually reach a head was clearly visible. Yet there have been plenty of talking heads shouting that mantra, as well as quite a number on here.
The stupid party. Do they not get that if this steal passes they will, eventually, lose every single seat in Congress?
McConnell didn’t get the memo.
I guess that means he is IN the memo.
And I was beginning to respect senator McConnell, too. This is extremely disappointing of him. And im disappointed in my ability to judge character. But maybe attributing character to any politician was my first mistake?
Mitch McConnell is one of the main reasons President Trump has been continually undermined by the DEEP SEWER.......BARR mostly likely served McConnell in order to cause Donald Trump to not be able to defend himself against false accusations arising from the DOJ (Department of Just Us)
