And that’s a significant option. And you don’t know if it’s going to happen or not. But there are other options beyond that. How about we let things play out first, and then we’ll decide which one of us was right?
Considering that at least 10 Republican senators have welcomed and congratulated Biden in the last day and the House is majority democrat, there is zero chance, Congress will accept alternative electors. Personally, I hope you’re right, of course. There are all kinds of reasons why I think we are where we are and some of those reasons are Trump himself. If you think I’m a never Trumper or establishment, I’m not. I was in DC this past Saturday. I’ll treat Biden like democrats treated Trump. I will never acknowledge that Biden’s victory is anything but stolen. I doubt I’ll ever vote for a Republican again - Trump literally accomplished everything on his own with little to no help from republicans in Congress - but you know all that. I would love for Trump to start a 3rd party, but I don’t see that happening.
