China’s communist regime is sounding increasingly triumphalist in the wake of the economic destruction wreaked by the coronavirus pandemic that originated in Wuhan, China.
“China’s Communist Party, under its leader, Xi Jinping, has promoted the idea that the country is on a trajectory to power past Western rivals,” the New York Times reports.
The China’s Communist Party (CCP) propaganda characterizes Western countries, and the United States in particular, as being crippled by the virus and internal strife – with one retired Chinese general going so far as to call the United States a “defeated power” in the “fight against the pandemic.”
The Times reports:
China stamped out the coronavirus, the messaging goes, with a resolve beyond the reach of flailing Western democracies. Beijing has rolled out homegrown vaccines to more than a million people, despite the safety concerns of scientists. China’s economy has revived, defying fears of a deep slump from the pandemic.
“In this fight against the pandemic, there will be victorious powers and defeated ones,” Wang Xiangsui, a retired Chinese senior colonel who teaches at a university in Beijing, averred this month. “We’re a victor power, while the United States is still mired and, I think, may well become a defeated power.”
The firm leadership of Mr. Xi and the party has earned China its recent success, say newspapers, television programs and social media.
“Time to wake up from blind faith in the Western system,” said a commentary in the state-run China Education News last week. “Vicious partisan fighting has worsened in certain Western countries, social fissures have deepened, and a severe social crisis is brewing.”

All the more reason to invoke the insurrection act. It worries me how many of our military assets are compromised by Chinese parts and infiltrators. We have no time to lose. We have plenty of repairing and hanging to do before we are ready to engage them. But it is looking like that is just exactly what we have ahead of us.
China will be lucky to be a united country in 5 years. She is facing major famine this coming year. Her manufacturing costs are now much higher than the rest of Asia and even Mexico. And, she is about to get into a war for Taiwan that may well turn out to be a bay of pigs.

We have no idea what the hell is going on there. For all we know they executed everybody that came down with it.

Wow, I had not heard that. Then, again, I was off line of most of the day yesterday.
Our economy is in free fall not because of China, Russia, or anyone else. It is our own Governors who are playing Mussolini with their arbitrary restrictions, lockdowns, and 24/7 fearmongering.
Millions are now broke, hungry, and pretty much without hope through no fault of their own.
Who was it that sicked the cops on small business to shut them down while allowing the big stores to operate? Who is it that ordered law enforcement to stand down while antifa and blm run wild looting and destroying property?
Who is it that is suppressing proven treatment for covid 19 in favor of expensive, unproven, unsafe, unnecessary vaccines?
It is our own state, local, and federal government who are either facilitating all this or simply allowing it to continue.
We have what it takes to remain a superpower second to none. But we need to solve our own problems instead of always blaming everyone else.
Cant say he’s wrong.
We were dealt a mortal blow by the Democrat fraudsters on Nov. 3.
