Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp (R) on Monday warned state lawmakers that they cannot appoint pro-Trump presidential electors.
Kemp said while speaking at the Biennial Institute for Georgia Legislators that legislators appointing their own electors was “not an option.”

Nobody shouldbe surprised at this. They never had his back, they sabotaged him in congress from day one, and they wanted him GONE. Are they upset with the steal? Nope, not one tiny bit.
Are they upset that people are calling them on it and saying don't support their candidates in GA until they do get upset with the steal? Hell yes, apoplectic in fact. All you need to know. They don't really represent us, they just lie about representing us and then go laugh about us with their beloved democrat friends.

Presidential electors are creatures of the state legislatures. Period. The legislatures can designate that power as they see fit. But when that power is abused, it ought to be reigned back in. Doing so now will prevent more abuse and corruption in the future.
The legislature does not have the power to pass a law which modifies the U.S. Constitution. They cannot surrender the power they have.
Imagine, for example, that the legislature voted to allow a private organization to pass laws in their state. That would violate their state constitution and any law “passed” by such organization would be without legal effect. Similarly, the legislature cannot give up their power to appoint Electors.
Which they exercised when they passed a law allowing the voters to select the electors. If they decide after the fact to seat a second, competing set of electors then you can be sure that will wind up before the courts.

Kemp is likely referring to the law on the books passed by the legislators.
Trump has to fire Barr, then the replacement has to file Treason against the members of the state governments executive, legislative, and judicial for collusion with the CCP

Each State shall appoint, in such Manner as the Legislature thereof may direct, a Number of Electors, equal to the whole Number of Senators and Representatives to which the State may be entitled in the Congress: but no Senator or Representative, or Person holding an Office of Trust or Profit under the United States, shall be appointed an Elector.
Notice there is no need to ask "Mother May I" from the Governor.
