Not his. These case seem to be brought at other levels. I don’t think Trump could very well order him to investigate an election of which Trump and his administration are a part. So we’ve got to see how it plays out at state level.
Barr, obviously, won’t be around in the Harris administration, if it happens, so an investigation wouldn’t be much good anyway.
I think Barr has been weak and slow-moving on many things, however, and I don’t know why, although possibly it’s to avoid charges of partisanship. Or possibly just his personality. Trump picked a lot of low-energy people for a lot of positions. His best pick was Pompeo.

I think Barr made a big mistake with his statement.
President Trump, YOU can appoint and commission people, to investigate, arrest, file charges, and bring suspects before any federal judge of your choosing.
It is going to be a very long road back, very, very long.
Yes they stole this and the next number of elections will most likely be the exact same thing. This regime didn’t take power by being voted in, I doubt the one that will eventually, maybe a long eventually, replaces it will be voted in. A Republic if you can keep it. Obviously we couldn’t. I don’t think power is going to revolve around elections any longer. But a party - a populist party - is an organization and with enough support over time, maybe much time, can develop the power needed to throw off an oppressive government. We need that organization. We are starting at zero.
Eventually, this new regime will fail. Even the Soviets failed. I would suspect this regime, likely patterned after China, will be faster to fail in the 21st Century than the Soviets were in the 20th. Regardless of how fast, we need organization to develop capability. The Alinsky program took at least 40 years to achieve their ends. We are at the same place our enemies were long ago. I think getting started is more productive than cursing our new darkness.

Having done so of that “shovel” ready projects, they are interesting, rewarding, and smellorifict.
There are days I wonder if I should have dropped out of engineering and stayed in plumbing.
But the real struggle is most of this infrastructure can’t be replaced. The lines run in places that were easy to get to in say, 1950 but now have a multimillion dollar building, home, or factory sitting on top.
I am still surprised places like Chicago don’t have more issues. The sewer was designed for a city half the size, and the treatment plant are sketchy at best. No one really makes big infrastructure like that anymore, and I am not sure we could. Making a gravity sewer to handling everything from potty to goldfish to projectile vomit is pretty hard. You get the drop wrong, and someone gets a brown fountain.
But I am a bit cranked up today.
AG has to be approved by Senate.
