There was no audit. Repeating a lie makes you a liar.
Yes, given the amount of illegal activity that appears to have taken place, I would assume the machine logs were wiped, or “corrected” somehow to cover up the illicit activity, quickly after the desired output was recorded.
These criminals have no desire to follow rules, much less the law. It’s more about what they can get away with, with their partners in law, politics, and the media, using “plausible deniability.”
You link to what Raffensperger said. He lied. He has been called out by many in GA for this lie. It was NOT AN AUDIT.
The GA GOP, Jody Hice, Perdue, Collins and Loeffler called him out on these lies. There are sworn affidavits in two different lawsuits to the lies. I know people personally who monitored, who told me the same.
I am not the one claiming an audit happened, Religion and Politics did.
So what words do you want to use to refer to the audit then? Are you OK with: HISTORIC FIRST STATEWIDE AUDIT OF PAPER BALLOTS UPHOLDS RESULT OF PRESIDENTIAL RACE You can even examine the results of the ______ at the link also. Please tell me what you want to call it.
Gottcha!! Thanks!
Okay, fair enough. I think we agree that the GA SOS ordered something that was meaningless in the grand scheme of detecting election fraud in its myriad forms. Perhaps what his “risk limiting audit” did was successfully verify the Dominion machines operated as expected, although I’m still not entirely convinced and won’t be until a forensic audit on the code happens. The whole lack of an audit log intrinsic to these machines worries me as do anecdotes about election officials scanning weird barcodes on the Dominion-printed ballots. We’ve held elections without computerized gadgets for most of our history and should not fix or obfuscate what isn’t broken.
Dominion is what it is. With so much other crap going on in GA and elsewhere, I’ve always found this line of attack to be unnecessary, unwieldy, and a bit too far-fetched to be effective under these time-sensitive circumstances (not impossible to conceive of, however). There are clear and provable Constitutional violations created by rogue state government actors; these should be the focus. This is why I prefer Lin’s lawsuit to Sidney’s. At this point, I don’t think we need to prove Trump got 80 million votes; all we need to prove is when the LEGAL votes are counted he received more than Biden in a few of the contested states.
How are you feeling about the legitimacy of the GA Senate runoffs? They are definitely a source of angst in my mind.
how about fake audit like fake news..
fake president - elect benedict biden
I agree this would be the most damning evidence in terms of what a judge or legislator might easily understand and act on to negate an election. When added to the deceased etc. still on voter roles and still "voting", perhaps enough evidence exists keep Biden below 270. I can only hope...
I think you mistook me for someone else, I have maintained that no audit occurred.
But there's an easy answer to their question. Take a small sample of ballots and make sure the QR code matches the filled ovals. That should be part of any audit.
There was the incident near Richmond Va that occurred on the last day of Voter registration....A Verizon cable just happened to be cut near the election board in Chesterfield on Route 10. Now why it affected the Capitol main board and all the other VA county boards of election in the state? I don’t know, but the entire state was shut down that day. Of course a judge allowed 3 extra days for stragglers to register. What got me about this incident was how the whole state wide vote registrar system was shut down and no one could even verify that they were still registered even if the local clerk was called(who told me that because the state was shut down, the local records were, too! What a way to install 100000 phantom registered voters?!!
I guess we’ll never know...
I'm not feeling good about the Senate runoffs. My concern is because all of my connections have lost confidence in the system and they do nothing but cheering the "Hail Mary's" at this point. If we lose the Senate seats it will be because of all this election fraud stuff. People, maybe even those from Georgia in this thread, will think better of voting at all. Meanwhile, Stacey keeps signing up the Absentee Ballot Requests.
I know we have a 9 justice SCOTUS currently, and I like the content. I can't grasp how folks seemingly are ready to discount the whole system when we are the ones running it, at least in Georgia and at the US Senate. But to me, if it were only a financial thing, my money would be on Stacey at this point. That is the sad reality of my mind on the matter.
that is really interesting
You're still mixing distinct terms. A hand recount, is a type of recount. Recounts are a portion, but only portion, of an "audit." "Validate" (or invalidate) the machine count, would be a more appropriate term in this context, to avoid confusion.
But regarding the question, it simply can't be done easily or practically. The system that was used is flawed, to only use a machine code to count the ballot, when it is actually being counted. Unless the machine code itself, can be counted by something other than the machine that printed it, there is insufficient evidence to conclusively prove what vote was actually counted.
risk limited audit
This is another major flaw in the current process. There should be no limits placed on the audit. There should be a "full audit" which is a known and typical process. The Gov and SoS could order a full audit, but they won't. The question is why, since this is the proven best way to determine if fraud occurred. Instead, they want to conduct 2 basically meaningless recounts, and try to pass them off as "audits" when they are actually very "limited audits."
In the Georgia 2020 election, none of the above had any impact on the Georgia election.
Powell's suit filed last night provided documented proof from an expert witness that the GA machines had connections to foreign locations. Maybe you haven't seen that yet?
Apparently Georgia's order of the Dominion system allowed us to have confidence in the system by producing paper ballots that could later be compared to the machine counts.
We've already been over this. Until the QR codes themselves are validated or invalidated, by something other than a Dominion machine, you haven't actually recounted what was actually counted.
I never had any opinion or really otherwise supported Raffensburger before the election.
So you weren't aware of the lawsuit that was filed against him previously over the purchase of the Dominion machines? And in that lawsuit, Dominion exec stated under oath that the machines aren't to be modified unless they are re-certified, but it's now been admitted they did modify the code without recertification?
You also didn't address the under the table deal he made with Democrats, to violate state law in their favor, that I mentioned to you previously. How about his refusal to conduct a "full audit" of the vote, especially in light of these revelations?
There's even a new accusation if not lawsuit regarding his potential misappropriation of millions of dollars of some sort. Becoming a new media star on CNN doesn't inspire confidence either. But I'm sure you've got good long winded excuses for all that too, correct?
Ugg. So many typos on the title page! Fortunately, the brief itself is polished and edited. I’m sure the rushed typist was trying to put this all together at the last minute, but first impressions are important.
But there's an easy answer to their question. Take a small sample of ballots and make sure the QR code matches the filled ovals. That should be part of any audit.
To be completely honest, the QR code was not part of what I remember of the printed ballot. What was printed was a very clear validation of the selections I made on the machine and easy to check all the way through. My recollection is that I was impressed to have a printed ballot representing my selections. I liked it.
If the ballots were hand recounted from the printed verified selections and the counts matched the ones derived by scanning the QR codes (which they did) then it really doesn't matter what is encoded in the QR code. But I agree that it wouldn't be a huge problem to verify if the QR code represented the intent of the voter.
Hopefully you realize that to many of this, it makes you appear blissfully ignorant of what was not only going on then, but what is going on now? Nothing personal, but it is actually comical.
Hopefully you realize that to many of *US*, it makes you appear blissfully ignorant of what was not only going on then, but what is going on now? Nothing personal, but it is actually comical.
Corrected. Sorry was laughing too hard.
Happy Thanksgiving, Rod! See you on the Sunday Talk Show Thread. Hopefully, we'll have more good news by then.
