Thank you all very much for your thoughts and prayers and love. It means so much to me. There’s so much I’d like to say about my dear sweet Sheila but the tears keep flowing and I can’t get it written down. I know that she’s now in heaven and that we’ll meet again, but this parting is so painful. Dear God thank you for the 50 years we shared together and for our two boys you gave us. I love her so and always will.
You are Welcome and We are still Praying for You and the Family.
Thank You and John for creating FR.
Take Care and Stay Safe.
Dear Mr.Robinson.....your tender post to your wife has touched me so.
How blessed she was to have had you....and you her.
May God hold you in his arms and comfort your heart.
God bless you, Jim.
She was a lucky woman.
God calls his servants home for their reward when their work here is done. I think I speak for many here when I thank you for all that you have done over the decades, and we know that Sheila was your world and inspiration. Prayers and love to you and your family.
God Bless, Jim... so very sorry. A family friend of ours recently lost his beloved wife after 50 years of marriage as well. Prayers up for your family.
Many hugs to you.
We will continue to keep you and the family in our prayers.
You are a dear man.
God bless you.
Thank you, Jim, for writing. I’m crying now, too. 50 years is so much history and love together! Anytime you want to write about Sheila or your memories together, please ping me. I wish I knew you both better. You and Sheila are heroes to me, and your boys are following your lead, praise God. I will keep praying for grace and peace for you guys.
I have found there is something that does help, a little.
To tell others a funny story when you both laughed hard. Something silly is usually the best. Even if you repeat the same story, every time you laugh and relive the memory with others, you'll hear her laugh again and feel her in your heart.
She's not gone... just out fishing, with the Lord.
Jim...After 50 years with your beloved you have well earned your pain and grief...and it is yours...but you have entered the brotherhood of great loss which others here understand and stand by with you...perhaps silently...yet they are here.
I’ll leave you with this:
“There are some who bring a light so great to the world that even after they have gone the light remains.” — Unknown
God bless you, Jim. Continuing to pray for your strength and perseverance. As you hold dear your memories of Sheila, I am grateful for the opportunity to have met her in D.C. She was a lovely woman.
Jim you are welcome and I will continue to pray for and put your family on my prayer chain. May God be with you to comfort and strengthen you. <><
Eternal rest grant unto her,
O Lord, and let perpetual light
shine upon her. May the souls
of all the faithful departed, through
the mercy of God, rest in peace.
The response of a loving spouse.
Take care dear Jim.
My sincere sympathies for the loss of your soulmate, and prayers extended for you and your family. May Sheila rest in peace while she awaits her true love.
May God comfort and keep you.
Hugs, love and prayers continually for you and your family.
God Bless you Jim. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Eventually, when the sorrow has eased a bit, you will take comfort in remembering the funny things she said and did,
and the wonderful years you had together. Hold on to those memories. You will see her again.
Prayers
You have our support Jim, and many shoulders to cry on. Let the tears come.
