Tucker: We heard you. Its hard to trust anything. Heres what we know. (23 minute of Tucker Carlson monologue).
Just a question, does he have contractual obligations with Fox News that prevent him from jumping ship?
Full disclosure: I did not watch since election night.
Yeah sure, they are laughing as their ratings are flushing down the toilet because they get a few cents from somebody who doesn't even own cable occasionally watching one of the people they have not purged yet on YouTube.
So lets tune out one of the last honest broadcasters at FOX. Exactly how does that advance the cause?
True but say literally everyone stops watching Fox News. Won't the "0 households viewing" statistic impact Fox News? Won't it impact Fox News when nobody is discussing Fox News shows any longer, even though Fox News still gets paid by cable companies? Don't ratings matter?
Best Tucker ever, he really outdid himself, but I will not resubsribe to Fox to hear him live.
He called out Cavuto tonight (without mentioning his name, but we all know who he was talking about - so does Neil).
Nice speech Tucker but two points: 1) you don’t know how many votes were part of the fraud so you can’t say the “fraud we can confirm” won’t be enough to affect the election. There is no official confirmation of anything... BUT... there looks like fraudulent votes in the hundreds of thousands which will affect the outcome of the election. 2) you mention CEOs and other networks but you don’t mention FOX for their culpability. You’re ignoring what’s under your nose . Though you say FOX doesn’t dictate what you say, they did dictate what Jean Pirro could say and suspended her program.
I don’t have cable—but are you sure indivdual programs and channels are not influenced by viewership?
Yeah, go ahead and shun everyone on fox news because the management took a left turn.
Here’s a better idea. https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=tucker+carlson&sp=CAISAhgC
youtube search for tucker Carlson | 20 minutes+ and sorted by most recent.
Fox doesn’t get a dime. Tucker doesn’t get the viewership numbers.
It’s all uploaded by individuals that record and upload it. The vids don’t stay up long and the uploaders have to keep making new accounts. They’re fighting the online war.
If tucker quits speaking the truth, then give up on him. Also, realize that no nightly show has time to tell it all.
.
I won't subscribe to FoxNews either. Heck I have not had cable for years and don't miss it. Have found that hidden in the great pile of content called YouTube there are a few people who are both very knowledgeable about a subject and honest enough to report reliably on it. I have not loyalty to YouTube as they are censoring and hassling some of my favorite content creators, and am hoping there will be a clear alternative streaming service that will treat them better...but for now YouTube has way more selection.
I just want to point out that this thread’s link goes to YouTube, not Fox. There are no Fox ads that would make them money.
Well it is the FoxNews channel on YouTube, which means FoxNews will split ad revenue with google on this video. However, it appears they have "demonitized" this video, or at least I don't see an ad when I restart it, so there is no ad money to split and FoxNews is likely getting nothing for it.
If Tucker quits he is legally out of the public battle for six months. He’s not who we should be going after.
I am done with Faux.
Fool me once, fool me twice, fool me three times.
Faux is a waste of effort
You know what, Tucker? 24 years of having my opinions and thoughts “corrected” by one FReeper or another has de-sensitized me to guilt trips. I’ll do and think what I damn well please (always seeking The Holy Spirit’s guidance first, of course). As of this moment, He appears to be okay with me deleting your show from my list of DVR recordings.
Forgive him, Father. He knows not what he’s saying.
Ooh, I like that one!
How do you watch Tucker, then?
I have AT&T, and they pay FOX NEWS (and all other channels they carry) a small fee every month. That is why, for example, CNN is able to stay on the air, despite the fact that they have VERY LOW viewer market share. CNN doesn’t really care if anyone watches them - they get megagbux FRom the cable/satellite companies.
HST, the rate that various shows can charge their advertisers IS affected by viewers - the more viewers a show has, the more per minute they can charge.
Each TV channel thus has two income streams - the fee they get FRom the cable/satellite companies and the fee they get from advertisers.
Oh, yes, it will affect their revenue stream, eventually.
And some of their on-air personalities will be canned.
But it will take some time for this to all shake out.
I have cut back my FOX NEWS hours considerably, and am seeking a way to “cut the cable” and still have some decent TV time.
All suggestions as to how I can keep my DVR and cut my cable will be gladly accepted!
