Former Vice President Joe Biden urged Americans at a press conference in Wilmington, Delaware, on Monday to put aside political differences now that the 2020 “election is over.” He also told them to “wear a mask” to prevent further spreading of the novel coronavirus pandemic.
Biden, whom multiple media outlets have declared president-elect though President Trump is challenging the results, announced members of his coronavirus advisory task force during the presser. At its conclusion, the former vice president took a moment to address what he saw as the “politicization of basic responsible public health steps, like mask-wearing and social distancing.”

Liberals believe we need to mask up and shut down society and the economy to fight the virus. Conservatives believe that all of us should have personal freedoms to decide for ourselves what to do, without draconian governmental mandates.

That press conference was an embarrassment. A demented old man tripping over words written for him that made no sense. Talking about the potential for a vaccine in coming months and how to distribute? Trump’s vaccine will be distributed in weeks, before Biden wakes up from his nap.

Washington State Governor Jay Inslee was on CNN. Said that Biden should call for wearing of masks inside one’s own home! No Thanksgiving Dinners, etc.
