Legal jockeying in Pennsylvania intensified Friday as Republicans asked the U.S. Supreme Court to ensure county election officials were segregating mail ballots delivered after Election Day, the latest effort by the GOP to use the courts to intervene in the vote count as former vice president Joe Biden’s advantage grew.
On Friday evening, Justice Samuel A. Alito Jr., who received the petition because he is the justice responsible for that region, approved the GOP request for now. He called for a response from state officials by Saturday afternoon.
Even if the high court were to ultimately side with Republicans, the impact would likely be muted: Pennsylvania officials said they are already setting aside the small number of mail ballots that have arrived since Tuesday.

OH... and how are they supposed to know which ones arrived before or after 8pm??? were they time stamped or something???

Some of the counties were not segregating the ballots.
If that is what they will say it then won’t all the ballots be tossed out?
And, the state of PA will say to the SC, piss off. What is anyone going to do—nothing.
They are cheating, it’s obvious that they are but how do you prove it? It’s like watching a magic show,you know the ball is in the other hand but didn’t see how it was done. They won’t stop until they pay a serious price.
Lemme guess, Allegheny, Philadelphia, Montgomery and Delaware counties accidentally didn’t segregate their ballots.
That “small number” of ballots was large enough to erase Trump’s 700,000 lead!
There needs to be a Re-Do in all questionable states. It is the only way 50%+ of the population will have any faith in elections.
If that’s the case I think the whole thing needs to be totally redone.
Yep. This is a win. All those downplaying this I guess prefer that no relief be granted.
Hope so. That would be the worse decision they could make.
