Arizona Republican Sen. Martha McSally remains confident Democrats supporting challenger Mark Kelly won't flip her Senate seat.

Speaking with Fox News on Monday evening, the incumbent said that the only poll that matters in the race is Election Day. Kelly, a former NASA astronaut, has been leading McSally for the past couple of months.

Kelli Ward is our AZ GOP State Chairwoman now. She wants everyone to vote for McSally. I was just with them yesterday.

McSally flew the A10 Warthog and was the first US female to fly in combat. Kelly circled the earth in “astronaut pants”.

That will be good, however I donated to her campaign as I did for many other Republicans. Her campaign is the only one that doesn’t honor unsubscribe requests. I get at least 5 emails a day after trying to unsubscribe multiple times and emailing the campaign many other times. That hurts other Republicans as people think they will get the same treatment. Never again.

···name some bad votes she made that would make her worthy of anything less than full support

l cannot think of any.

McSally has been a solid supporter of the Trump agenda. She's also been a tremdeous supporter of cyber security and understands the threat China poses.

Compare McSally with our “moderate, independent voice,” Sinema, who votes a straight Chuckie directive and then hides out until the next one.

“She’s a good senator.”

But a terrible campaigner.

Agreed, but I don’t elect her to campaign. And that vulcan maniac she’s running against runs commercials of himself snuggling with his wife.

I’m all for McSally, but she’s got to step up her game as a campaigner. If she wins this cycle she’ll have six years to learn how. As a senator she is light years better than McCain or Flake.

What other US senators are measured by their campaigning standards? Barry Goldwater was the last decent campaigner we had.

Where I’ll agree with you is the sexual harassment and “I’m your girl” ad stuff was awful. But Sinema took a lot of GOP women from her, so that’s why she did it.

I can’t think of a single wobbly vote.

EXACTLY! We need McSally in the Senate, NOT the ChiCom Gun-Grabber (Kelly). McSally voted for our new Supreme Court Justice (thank you!!), and supports President Trump!

But what do we see here, at FR? Some folks don't like her, for whatever reason, so they're criticizing her & tearing her down, WHILE THE POLLS ARE STILL OPEN IN ARIZONA!!!

(God, how I wish the GOP 'circular firing squad' would give things a freaking break - even temporarily, just for once - UNTIL AFTER ELECTION DAY!!!)

She has been OK on the Trump agenda. But she hurt herself big time in 2016 by refusing to endorse Trump and has never said who she voted for in 2016. She was a moderate Republican as a congresswoman. Until a couple of weeks ago, she had never been on a conservative radio station and had almost never campaigned in Arizona. Her ads have sucked in every campaign she has been in.

She is a great conservative compared to Mr Gabby Giffords. And that is all that matters today!

She’ll be up for re-election in 2022 if she wins, not 2026. I expect Ducey to run against her if she wins. I’d pick her over Ducey after the way Ducey has shat himself during the ChinaVirus.

As a rule, she is someone who slowly wins over an area. IIRC, she lost her first campaign for the House. Then won in a super tight race (declared winner in Dec). Then won a little more comfortably. She is way better than Jeff Flake and less mean than McCain and probably more conservative than either of those.

I truly hopes she wins. She seems to be growing more conservative with time and is learning how to campaign. I’d love a real conservative but don’t see any chance the AZ GOP party will let one win.

BTW - I’ve disliked her for years before her first political race. I despise her military service, which was utterly political and self-serving. Never met an A-10 pilot who liked her. But in 2020? GO SALLY!

If she wins, she’ll need to run again in 2022.

Didn’t ballot harvesting have something to do with Sinema’s win? How much illegal activity can we expect out there this time?

Calm down. Lots of us who have lived with her in politics have disliked her for a long time, but I don’t know of ANY who are not supporting her this year!

But 2022 may be a better Senate year for us. I have not checked.

My only complaint about McSally was that she never should have been appointed to fill a vacant seat after she lost the other Senate race just months earlier. That may go down as one of the dumbest political moves in modern history.

If you can't win a Senate race in a GOP-leaning state on merit, then you have no business getting appointed to fill a vacancy and then run as an incumbent two years later.

No, I don’t think so. She filled out McCain’s term, so this cycle she’s running on her own ticket, for a six-year term.
