How do you give Michigan to Biden?

Partly to be provocative, partly because history shows that the longer things drag out, the better the odds of the democrats snatching it.

why are you not giving PA to Trump?

Because I'm assuming that PA will be proven to be so messed up with no audit trail that it will be impossible for a court to tell whether they followed the rulings or not. As to the late arriving ballots, no signature ballots, etc. that they are supposed to count but keep separate, I'm assuming that they will get comingled with the regular ballots and then the director of elections will say "oops, sorry, it was an accident, we threw out the envelopes by mistake, the intern has been reprimanded...", and the election will be impossible to remedy.

That leads to two alternatives:

1. The GOP legislature steps in and directly appoints a slate of electors for President Trump.
2. The GOP legislature tries to step in and directly appoint a slate of electors for President Trump but the Democrat governor and state Supreme Court try to block the legislature from unilaterally acting.

Since we're talking about Republicans, I'm going with #2 as the successful outcome. If the Democrats can create enough chaos to keep PA from certifying by the Electoral College safe harbor date, then the EV is tied. To me, that will mean that Biden wins with the votes he has plus a faithless elector who flips his way.

All have been counted, and the state site reflects the totals.

Michigan has problems counting 3-4 million votes?

Pensylvania has problems counting?

I think if Trump can show a major discrepancy, you revote the state.

apparently there was a 100k+ decimal point related mistake in Shiawassee County which when corrected at 4am this morning made a huge difference in biden’s favor. i wonder if this is confirmed and if so puts MI beyond trump’s reach. if it can be confirmed then apparently the mistake took baris and possibly other pollsters by surprise.

There have been several well over 10,000. I think 2016 was over 12K wasn’t it?

The NYT/AP site says this about Pennsylvania:

According to turnout estimates, around 830,000 votes remain in counties won by Hillary Clinton in 2016. Trump 2016 counties have around 350,000 votes left to report.

I agree that it's not out of the question, but there has to be a lot of flips in blue counties.

Michigan is doable too, but the Republicans don't have the track record for holding onto leads in Democrat run states.

Never been done. You can't revote the state knowing what result you need.

You either recanvas and look for irregularities like tally sheets not matching voter rolls, tally sheets not matching votes cast (like Michigan was doing with the Stein recount that got halted in 2016), ballots with only Presidential votes and nothing else, multiple rerun ballots, etc., or the legislature declares the vote as irreversibly corrupted and goes to court to appoint the electors directly according to the wishes of the voters as they declare it to be.

The GOP legislature will try to seat their own slate of Electors, and the Democrats will go to court to block it until the safe harbor date passes. Maybe Roberts will see the light and rule for the legislature, maybe not.

Thing is, the Constitution explicitly says that the appointment of a state’s electors is in the hands of the legislature. The Constitution does not even require an popular-vote election for President. Don’t see how SCOTUS can vote against a legislature appointing its Electors.

How many ghetto precincts in Fulton could possibly be left to count? I thought I read that DeKalb (even more racist Democrat than Fulton is) was 100% done.

I think in that scenario it would be the PA state Sup Court issuing a ruling that blocks the PA legislature, and then when the PA legislature appeals to SCOTUS, John Roberts and one other traitor would cross over and issue. 5-4 decision to not intervene.
