A month ago I put in for W, Th and F off. Just because.

I actually requested the 3rd and 4th off back in June so I could vote in the early morning and stay up late to watch the returns (already voted though).

My job is physically located in the 'belly of the beast' (NYC), but I am working from home, so thankfully no travel or safety concerns on that front.

This election night unrest has become a self-fulfilling prophecy. The media and even many democrats have been talking it into existence and actually encouraging it.
