Melissa Francis is off the air and her status at Fox News is in doubt

Melissa Francis, regularly seen on the popular Fox News midday talk show “Outnumbered,” has been off the air for two weeks and is probably at the end of her six-year run at the network, according to people familiar with the matter who were not authorized to comment and requested anonymity.

Francis, 47 has not been seen on the program since Oct. 7. A Fox News representative did not comment on her status, saying only that she is still an employee and its daytime programming is being revamped.

“Fox News Media regularly considers programming changes, including to its daytime lineup, and will launch new formats as appropriate after the election,” the representative said in a statement. “These changes are being made independent of any other ongoing matter.

I don’t know if she actually defended Soros, but (and I saw it)she quickly deflected a harsh judgment of Soros by a guest (can’t remember who), and clumsily cut away or changed the subject. Her husband works for a Soros company. Funny, because several days later, I heard her say something negative about Soros, or at least agree with a guest who did. Too bad, because until then, I thought she was smart and reliably “conservative” (as far as you can be on the always hedge-betting FOX.) Would be interesting to find out exactly what the story is. Mostly though I thought she was beautiful, I mean, really ravishingly beautiful.

When I was a senior in high school, I was taking on my mom on my own, because Tiffany had moved out months before. I came home from school after going to an audition and seeing my boyfriend. My mother was in her bedroom when I walked by heading to my room. She stopped me and asked what she was holding in her hand. It was my report card with straight A's on it. I remember she stated in a cold tone that I had an A- in my AP chemistry class. I replied "I know, isn't that great?" Her reply was slapping me across the face and saying it was almost a B. I walked away laughing, finally understanding that no matter what I do, it'll never be good enough for her.
