Courant Presidential Endorsement: You probably think you can vote for Donald Trump but not support racism; here’s why you’re wrong
The Hartford Courant ^ | OCTOBER 18, 2020 | Editorial

Posted on 10/18/2020 11:11:51 AM PDT by E. Pluribus Unum

Chances are you’ve already made up your mind about whom to vote for as we decide who’s going to be the next president of the United States. You probably are also aware there’s no way The Hartford Courant or most any other newspaper is going to endorse Republican Donald Trump for reelection.

There are many reasons for that, and we’re not going to go into them in great detail here. If you are voting for Democrat Joe Biden, you know what they are. If you’re voting for Trump, you probably don’t care.

But there is one issue that demands a closer look as we approach Election Day, one that even those of you who are pretty sure you’re voting Republican might want to think about before voting for Trump: race. Or, more specifically, racism and the damaging effects it has on the fabric and future of our nation.

President Trump’s views on race and his willingness to exploit deep-rooted divisions are well documented. He jump-started his 2016 campaign by equating Mexicans with rapists and drug dealers. When racist violence erupted at a Charlottesville, Va., white-supremacist rally, Trump said there were “very fine people on both sides.” And most recently, when asked during a debate with Biden to denounce white nationalism, Trump said it was time for the militaristic hate group the Proud Boys to step back — but also to “stand by.”

That alone should frighten you, but right about now is when some of you are probably saying that you don’t subscribe to the kind of racist invective Trump uses to fire up his base. You believe in the free market and low taxes, or you’re against abortion, or you just don’t trust the Democrats.

Still telling the Big Charlottesville Lie. That discredits the
story completely, akin to saying "Trump is Hitler".

In the era where a great mass of the black citizenry is shown to be avowed Anti Americans, it is ok to loudly and roughly criticize them for being black. Being black and thrusting BLM in the face of good Americans has devolved into being against the glue that holds the American civilization together.

Since opposing and being critical of anything black is racist, it is ok even mandatory to be racist

“racism and the damaging effects it has on the fabric and future of our nation.”

We’ve been hearing this racist bilge for decades now. Despite the propaganda put out by racist blacks and self-hating whites, most whites know it is not true and also know that whites are the least racist group in this country.

Hartford Courant: Go peddle your lies to the New Black Panthers, the Congressional Black Caucasians, the United Negro College Fund, the NAACP, and the White Lives Don’t Matter movement.

Total pack of lies.

Each instance they cite is easily refuted as false, but this fishwrap is just another organ in the Deep State, DNCMedia.

The leftists have a deck of cards and all 52 of them are race cards. They have pushed this racism crap so unrelentingly that it has been a joke. Today calling someone racists is just like the medieval nuts who ran around making accusations of witchcraft.

Hartford city council urges newspaper’s parent company to stop layoffs
Hartford, CT (Hartford Business Journal) — Hartford’s city council on Monday approved a resolution urging Alden Capital, a New York hedge fund that owns the Hartford Courant’s parent company, to cease layoffs at the paper.
Last November, Alden Capital increased its financial stake in Tribune Publishing Co., which owns the Courant, to 32%. Since then, members of The Hartford Courant Guild — which represents newsroom employees — have said Alden has been gutting the publication. [I wonder why?]

The Harford Courant mis-quotes, takes out of context leaving facts behind...HC is a prime example of corrupting the news.

Charlottesville was an elaborately staged play to set the narrative of a violent right where none existed.
The violence has all been from the left.

This typical logic strained editorial is testimony to the fact that people in the journalism industry, by far, have to be the stupidest lemmings in the world. If left to their own devices where they are just not parroting someone else’s words and have to create a logic chain on their own, they are always an epic fail. They should name all university schools of journalism The Don Lemon School of Journalism to reflect this fact
