Officials in California are instructing voters “not to microwave” their mail-in ballots to kill the Coronavirus; saying “disinfecting” the paper with items like bleach or hand-sanitizer could impede a machine’s ability to properly read their choice for President.

“Voters do not have to worry about contracting COVID from their mail-in ballots,” said Courtney Bailey-Kanelos, registrar of voters in Sacramento.
“We understand if for the outgoing white envelope that you get that maybe the mail service carrier may have touched, you want to kind of hold that aside for 24 hours,” Bailey-Kanelos said. “Everything inside the pink return envelope, the ballots themselves, they have been inserted by a machine weeks ago, so they are safe.”
“These ‘spoiled ballots’ were brought in from the voters themselves to exchange for new ones so they were able to vote on clean ballots before casting their ballots,” Bailey-Kanelos explained on Twitter. “If a ballot is already cast and damaged in ANY way, they are ‘remade’ so they can be counted by the machines.”

Everyone knows that you are supposed to boil mail-in ballots.
And who would think of microwaving their ballots? The most likely answer is Democrat Karens. Go girls, turn it up to high and set the timer for 12 minutes. Repeat. That will get rid of all of the cooties. Go Biden.
Exactly my thought. The only idiots who would consider doing that are the Democrat Karen’s who have been living in abject fear and terror for months now.

The only way to properly disinfect a ballot is to vote Trump.
If you are Afraid of the COVID being on your ballot, you should leave it alone for at least 6 weeks, DON’T TOUCH IT!!

I can’t believe that people are still so damn afraid of this virus they are microwaving their ballot!!! OMG the media has created this hysteria however this scares the hell out of me that 1/2 of the American people will completely go into a fetal position if the damn government tells them to be afraid of something!! Where did you get that idea?
I worked for ten years at a publisher that skewed old in our customer base. Our order form reminded customers to NOT mail in their credit card. I am sure there was a story behind it, though I never learned what it was.
If you microwave the dots it will inhibit their ability to differentiate between the two, and GOP ballots may be mistakenly included in the vote totals.
I live about an hour from Donner Pass and am reminded what those pioneers went through crossing the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Today? Some people can’t walk across the street without wearing a hazmat suit.
