A militia group planned to violently depose Michigan’s government and abduct Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D), the FBI said in a federal affidavit filed Thursday.
"Several members talked about murdering 'tyrants' or 'taking' a sitting governor," an FBI agent wrote in the affidavit, obtained by the Detroit News. "The group decided they needed to increase their numbers and encouraged each other to talk to their neighbors and spread their message."
Federal prosecutors plan to make a fuller statement on the alleged plot later Thursday, according to the newspaper.
At least five men have been charged in connection with the alleged plot, identified as Adam Fox, Barry Croft, Ty Garbin, Kaleb Franks, Daniel Harris and Brandon Caserta, according to the affidavit.

Yep.
Based on the facts on their face, there are only two more probable reasons for this;
1) False flag, or set up, for effect, to vilify right wing groups in order to dissuade activism, as well as to justify future law enforcement investigations
2) These guys are legit but idiots and easily caught, which is interesting because it proves that the left-wing domestic terrorists who burn down cities in this country are so much more well organized that our keystone cop agencies can’t seem to catch their command and control aka masterminds.
There are more FBI agents in various militias than there are patriots.
I am always amazed that some of these folks openly plan illegal acts in those circumstances.
SOunds more like a CYA moment to cover for Wray. I would bet money that the entire incident was Started and Promoted by the FBI, they most likely intentionally went after a few marginalized crazy guys and and pumped them up with crap and got them riled up enough to join their Plot, just to arrest them afterwards to make Wray appear to be truthful.
I GUARANTEE YOU the FBI played a Major Role in the entire Setup and wouldn’t believe anything any of them say or produce.
