A militia group planned to violently depose Michigans government and abduct Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D), the FBI said in a federal affidavit filed Thursday.
"Several members talked about murdering 'tyrants' or 'taking' a sitting governor," an FBI agent wrote in the affidavit, obtained by the Detroit News. "The group decided they needed to increase their numbers and encouraged each other to talk to their neighbors and spread their message."
Federal prosecutors plan to make a fuller statement on the alleged plot later Thursday, according to the newspaper.
At least five men have been charged in connection with the alleged plot, identified as Adam Fox, Barry Croft, Ty Garbin, Kaleb Franks, Daniel Harris and Brandon Caserta, according to the affidavit.

She sure did have a prepared speech attacking Trump ready to go. Is Michigan going for Trump? Nancy has lots of arrows in her quiver. This sounds like a joke to me. It’s just laughable. Kidnap her, and then what. It’s funny. Sounds like a bunch of 8 year olds dreaming up a scheme while they are camping out.
That was the first thing I thought of: “Ruthless People”. Hilarious.
“Looks like ANTIFA guy”
Bingo!
The narrative is debunked. Not right wing, but an ANTIFA false flag operation to impact the election.
It is. Half the people involved are probably fbi agents and instigators. This is how the criminal organization known as the 'fbi' works. The rest of the folk, perhaps minus one or two were blowing off steam.
Thank you for reminding me the name of the movie. It was a very funny movie and that scene where Midler was on the phone crying saying “I’m being marked down’ and made a reference to Kmart Blue Light Special.
Like racism, the demand for white supremacists greatly exceeds the supply.
but they can’t do anything about antifa/blm
sure
Suspect is an ANARCHIST (not Republican) with the ANARCHIST flag behind him in his video. And WHO would be friends/associates of an ANARCHIST? Most likely other ANARCHISTS. Duh!
Thanks for that link. Great find.

This is a video of Brandon Caserta, one of the ringleaders of the group of men arrested for a plot where the group planned to kidnap Governor Gretchen Whitmer. Caserta has an anarchist flag behind him and in YouTube videos trashes police. Hes not a Republican, hes an anarchist. pic.twitter.com/J1vE2qGYL7— Robby Starbuck (@robbystarbuck) October 8, 2020
More on the ideology of one of the men who was busted by the FBI for a plot to kidnap Governor Gretchen Whitmer. In this video he poses in front of an anarchist flag to tell people that the Declaration of Independence is an anarchist document. “Did the FBI agent in the group give them the idea?”
My first thought as well. From the article it says they talked about taking direct action, but then decided to talk to their neighbors to persuade them to political action.
Last summer this was happening, having nothing to do with the Lockdown, and now the October Surprise indictments by Dana the Destroyer, in a Big Tit for Tat, giving the Gretch ammo to tie it all to Trump. In the end, it will fizzle like all the other crap pulled on us to keep our attention going every which way. This is going to prove to be another FBI sting with FBI Undercover agents and “informants” inciting and entrapping. IF it is anything “real,” it is leftwing wackos or paid actors as no one would act this way in real life. Waco, Ruby Ridge, Finicum/Malheur, Bundys, Hutatree, am I forgetting anyone? My Stinkometer is going off the chart again.
Can’t wait to see how this plays out.
I'd be willing to bet serious money that NONE of the people charged will ever see the inside of a court room outside of some 'plea deal'. If I were on a jury in this case, my only real question would be, "What did they actually do?" If they didn't actually take concrete steps to actually off the bitch or something, they'd walk, because there is no way in hell I'd vote to convict.
Yup. "Unintended Consequences" has some really good ideas in it.
Great find. Thanks for that.
