“Real American trucks WILL HAVE 10,000 ftlbs torque!”
You don’t know physics, either, it seems.
“one-tenth the torque of the Rivian.”
You really are a childish idiot. A Rivian is stated as 829 torque. A Diesel truck has that.
“You dont know physics, either, it seems.”
Obviously, you are trolling.
Go ahead and give your crank a turn on this true Edie, old timer.
Hey I saw a dude with a couple of those range extenders in his truck bed around here earlier today!
“You really are a childish idiot. A Rivian is stated as 829 torque. A Diesel truck has that.”
The why are they not doing 0-60 in 3 seconds?
I'm not racin' it, I'm hauling firewood, or a camper, or grinding through a few feet of snow.
And I can go 400+ miles on a tank of gas.
I just ain't buyin' what you're sellin'
I want to see one get mocked and laughed at a mud bog race.
“I’m not racin’ it, I’m hauling firewood, or a camper, or grinding through a few feet of snow.”
Can you do a 180 on axis?
“I want to see one get mocked and laughed at a mud bog race.”
Patents don’t do mud bog races.
Excuse the frack out of me. All those electric vehicles are fossil fuel powered. Are you happy now?
The undeniable truth is that they will never be powered by wind, solar, rainbows or unicorn farts. The only viable option for replacing all of those natural gas and coal powered plants is with nuclear, which the tree hugging environmental extremists will never permit.
“Excuse the frack out of me. All those electric vehicles are fossil fuel powered. Are you happy now?”
Not all but so what! I bet you have a gas-powered AC unit?
What is your problem with a better vehicle that costs less to run?
Totally non-fossil fueled.
Range, quite possibly.
Duration, absolutely.
Ride, heavenly.
lol
American motorists use over 140 Billion gallons of gasoline per year. If everyone switches to electric vehicles, how the hell are they going to increase generating capacity to replace the energy of 140 Billion gallons of gasoline per year?
States like California that are trying to phase out fossil fuel power plants already do not have sufficient generating capacity for current needs. The more states try to rely on solar and wind the more they have to rely on oil based backup generators for when the sun isn't shining and the wind isn't blowing.
Plus vehicles with individual gasoline powered internal combustion engines are far more efficient than trying to power them all from centralized power plants. At least 5% of electricity generated in power plants is lost from transmission and distribution alone.
So feel free to drive a fossil fuel powered electric golf cart. I am sticking with a nice big gasoline powered truck or SUV.
"Will you take a look at this? 6,000 pounds of solid comfort. It takes up space, it pollutes the atmosphere, it scares the birds, fuck 'em. I love it!"

A Mr Fusion would be smaller....
Added benefit is it runs on table scraps and stale Natty Light :D

That is similar to what the horse-drawn buggy drivers said.
No roads to drive on!
No gas stations to refill at!
