At this point, it’s well worth asking whether the intelligence agencies are doing more harm to Americans than good. They’ve openly worked against a duly elected president, and there’s still been no day of reckoning, no sign that these agencies are being cleaned up. We don’t need unelected bureaucrats deciding they don’t like our election decisions.
Our intelligence agencies are supposed to catch enemy spies and deal with them. When our intelligence agencies have become the enemy of America and have been infiltrated by foreign elements, the only way to deal with those agencies is to ‘defund’ them, and de-staff them, and start all over again.
America’s enemies are within the country, and running things in our most important government agencies.
The intel community, especially the embedded bureaucrats and leadership needs to be cleaned out. I believe that LTG Flynn was intent on doing that, thus he became a target of Brennan and Clapper.

I agree with him, Justice has failed, if we can exercise control over these powers then the power has to be disarmed till we can find an effective way to safely control it.
From what I am hearing from the people who know, the career people in the government aren’t cooperating with holding these people accountable and are only going through the motions when directed to follow the law and regulations.

I’m sure they are all shaking in their boots. It was probably too late 50+ years ago to do anything about them. I think the NSA is the biggest single employer in Maryland, they are all huge and brimming with high functioning sociopaths that have been drawn to their ranks for the last 65+ years and longer.
And no politician is ever going cut “security” budgets much, if at all, in the 24 hour news cycle culture. What if something bad happens that could then be blamed on the cuts, true or not? Seems to me that when anything bad happens they then get even bigger budgets and more employees.
