BETHESDA, Md. — President Donald Trump declared, “I get it,” in a message to the nation Sunday evening before briefly leaving the hospital to salute cheering supporters from his motorcade, a surprising move that raised new questions about the president’s understanding of the coronavirus that has killed more than 209,000 Americans.
“It’s been a very interesting journey. I learned a lot about COVID,” Trump said, standing in his hospital room in a video posted on social media. “I learned it by really going to school.” He added, “I get it, and I understand it.”
Before the video was posted, the infected president cruised by supporters in his bulletproof SUV, windows rolled up, driven by Secret Service agents in protective gear who were potentially exposed to the disease that has swept through the White House in recent days.
“This is insanity,” tweeted Dr. James P. Phillips, an attending physician at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, where Trump has been hospitalized since Friday evening. “Every single person in the vehicle during that completely unnecessary presidential ‘drive-by’ just now has to be quarantined for 14 days. They might get sick. They may die,” the doctor wrote. “For political theater. Commanded by Trump to put their lives at risk for theater.”

Earlier I read the doctors had cleared the trip because the president was past the infectious stage.... Geez

FWIW, I think Trump may have been referring to getting an idea of how healthy people feel about being locked down.
He’s working out doing a trip around the block getting ready to do the Rush Limbaugh guest host gig.

The point was that he was supposed to quarantine for 2 weeks.
They all had masks on though.
And I assume they are watching him either way, whether in a car or not.
And the doctor freaked out because it’s a closed window vehicle because of safety concerns.
But Trump had the window open...
And I’m guessing secret service dudes are in pretty good shape and are not over 70.
This whole virus thing has gotten insane.
Pelosi said this proves how vicious the virus is.
no. It’s IS contagious. Not vicious for the vast majority.
Maybe she doesn’t know the difference.
But Trump is smart. He says now he understands it. He’ll win millions of old folks back that biden may have scared with lies.
Here is my prediction... we are all going to exposed to it eventually. In one form or another, one mutation or another.

Or maybe Trump was at the point where he wasn’t coughing much and everybody’s going to get cleaned up at the White House just to be sure. He even wore a mask inside the car.
He's a Demonrat nobody who takes care of emergency room cases.

Yes they are and they are all willing to lay down their lives for him. Nobody forced them to accept that position or responsibility so I guess they aren’t afraid of a little virus. After all they just saw the greatest President ever kick it’s ass.
Something tells me the Secret Service Agents truly care for Trump. They likely did this gladly. BESIDES he wore a MASK that fixes everything I thought.

Did Secret Service people drive President Trump to the hospital?
Did Air Force people pilot the helicopter from the White House?
Is President Trump being attended to by nurses and doctors at the hospital?
Are millions of nurses and doctors worldwide attending to covid patients worldwide after putting on protective clothing just like the Secret Service people?
Yes yes yes and yes. So what's the problem?
Okay.....
I think everytime Trump goes off the public schedule or perceived agenda he upsets any Democrat planning so I hope everyday he mixes things up.
