President Trump throughout the debate last night tried to frame Joe Biden as a radical leftist. Biden denied it time after time.
But it was Biden himself who provided the tell that he does indeed side with radical leftists and I am talking frightening radical leftist concepts.
At about 30 minutes into the debate, Biden said, "Its about equity and equality. Its about decency. Its about the constitution. And we have never walked away from trying to require equity for everyone, equality for the whole of America."
Now, notice that he says he wants "equity and equality," so it is not a case of his confusing equity for equality.
The term equity as a political term is only used by the radical left.
It is a horrific concept right out of something like Aldous Huxley's Brave New World.
On the Joe Rogan show, Tim Pool did a masterful job of explaining equity as viewed by the left
Here is the graphic Pool references:

Equality is fine. Equity is the material version, in which the trees are all kept equal by hatchet, axe and saw. /old reference
A classic lefty statement......saying that made Biden "feel real good about himself."
Well, you don’t need to parse words to understand that, he is either a leftist, or that he will kowtow to the radical left. Or both. He has shown that time and time again. Furthermore, he tries to hide his true attitudes just like a good leftist does.
Always appreciate any reference to “The Trees”, as applicable in my 1978 debate on the Bakke v University of California Regents as it is when discussing ‘equity’ today, sadly.
As Jordan Peterson has said — Equal Opportunity is a very good thing; any decent society offers equal opportunity (as ours does). But Equal Outcome can only be advanced by tyranny and even then it will not really be achieved. Equal Outcome is an evil goal.
The government must assure equality of rights and nature has the power to control abilities whether those abilities be physical or mental. Only dictators can enforce equality of outcomes when these rights and abilities are exercised.
For a three man band Rush really rocked!
Silly me. I always thought equity was what remained after substracting your liabilities from your assets.
Or the legend of King Procrustes, who had one bed for all guests, and he made sure that the guest fit precisely on that bed: he stretched out the short, and cut the legs off of the tall.
Equity = Marxist “equality’
Harrison Bergeron, short story by Kurt Vonnegut
I saw what you did there with the consequences, sir...
There is a book called The Flush Times of Alabama and Mississippi from shortly before the Civil War. There is a funny section about a young man who is trying to become a lawyer so he is being examined but he obviously has not learned enough to pass. He is asked about "equity" and has no idea what it means so tries to fake an answer.
The most barbaric regimes on earth have had what they called “equality” (of course some are more equal than others). If you don’t conform to the equals that is set for you,you get disappeared.
I was expecting a different complaint from an economic publication. From an economics viewpoint I found the most alarming, and sophomoric, thing said was the nonsense of rebuilding thousands of homes in order to satisfy the environmentalists would produce “millions of jobs”. That is truly, truly stupid and totally leftist.
It assumes all of us are here just for the benefit of the whims of the those who run government.
Economics is about how a society allocates resources. Most of these resources are scarce or limited. When vast amounts of resources are allocated by the government by using tax monies or subsidies (our money), then that means there are fewer resources left for discretionary purposes.
Thus, when the government decides that vast sums are to be used for rebuilding perfectly good buildings, then there will be less resources for building new buildings or other things that could be done with those vast sums.
So when Joe says millions of jobs will be created, then that immediately says that there will be millions of people doing useless work when they could have been gainfully employed to provide things that you and I wanted to buy or services that you and I wanted and in many cases, needed.
BTW: This is NOT related to JFK’s observation that a rising tide lifts all ships. JFK was taking a swipe at the liberal notion that all wealth is fixed and anyone who acquires wealth has done so at the expense of someone else.
