If you're going to discount someone's article like that it would be helpful if you gave an example or two of when he was overly optimistic enough to raise doubt about his current assertions.

After Wray playing the see no evil monkey re: election fraud and then having Project Veritas come out and show election fraud a few days later, I'm not feeling too good about election 2020.

Early & Often has been a running joke for over a decade. Trump wasn't allowed to drain the swamp because Russia. House seats lost post election in 2018 and no one that matters seems to care and now they've mailed millions of ballots out across the US.

My birthday falls on Thanksgiving this year. I have a feeling we won't have a winner of 2020 presidential election announced by then.

I like Larry, but he has been overly-optimistic in the past, when things didn’t turn out well for conservatives.

True. 2018. However, in his defense, his analysis is more tuned to presidential-election years. It seemed to falter last time, during the off-year election.

I think this coming election is the biggest test of his methodology, which is to analyse registrations and trends, and to note the absence or presence of minority/student support.

I'm inclined to, with hope, lean into believing his analysis.

I missed the HOUSE in 2018, but was dead on in the SENATE where we indeed flipped (as I predicted) 4 seats.

We came out a net +3 only because many thousand Rs in AZ did not vote for McSally.

So from 2016 (100%+) to 2018 Senate (99%) to the 2018 House (0%) I’m still at 67%!! Try those odds anywhere else.

Some people who whip the numbers until they bleed like to manufacture an aura of cold, hard, scientific, unemotional, factual analysis around their opinions.

But politics is highly emotional by nature, and what shows up in the original post is way more emotional than any of the other adjectives from the first sentence of this paragraph.

And his surmisal could have merit.....he was right in 2016 but not as right as his data suggested

Rush explained it this AM. They are oversampling surburban Republican women who hate Trump, and undersampling Reagan Democrats who voted for Trump in ‘16. This way they can say it is fair party wise, but they are missing the people outside the suburbs and the country people who believe in God, Guns, and Country.
