Two Democratic governors are calling for Congress to investigate the Trump administration’s handling of the coronavirus crisis, which they allege was politicized and impeded the U.S. response.
Govs. Andrew Cuomo of New York and Gretchen Whitmer of Michigan, both of whom have been criticized for their own responses to the crisis, allege that the U.S. has “the worst response to the COVID-19 virus of any nation in the world” and that it is “a direct result of President Trump and the federal government’s deceit, political self-dealing and incompetence.”
“Rather than turning to the advice and direction of public health experts and career public servants, President Trump instead put the health and security of the American people in the hands of political appointees whose first priority was securing the reelection of their benefactor, with predictably tragic results," they said in a statement.

Where are righteous bolts of lightning when you need them? This is absolutely sick politics on their parts.
Ok, I call BS on this.
Remember, back in April, Cuomo publicly praised the Trump administration response to the virus? Remember he said how Trump had given all needed aid and supplies to New York, when New York became the epicenter of the virus in America?
Remember how they built a mobile field hospital at the Jacob Javits Center? Remember how the hospital ships went to New York? And remember that Cuomo publicly thanked the president for sending all that aid to New York????
Gretchen Whitmer’s response is an exercise in fascism.
Governor Cuomo, you sure you want investigations into the responses to COVID-19? Because I’m pretty sure your policy requiring nursing homes to accept known-infected COVID-19 patients resulted in thousands of unnecessary deaths. And I’m pretty sure that easily lends itself to some manslaughter charges for you.

A bolt of lightning labeled Cuomo sounds entirely appropriate.

BOTH of these azzhats, along with the other ones, know they’re facing mass murder and crimes against humanity charges for what they deliberately did with those innocent elderly in those nursing homes.
In a sane world, they and their filthy ilk would already been tried and facing an execution sentence.
