A large batch of mail, including several mailed-in ballots, were discovered in a ditch along a Wisconsin road on Tuesday.
Fox 11 reported the Outagamie County Sheriffs Office said three trays were found in a ditch early in the morning.
The mail was found near the intersection of highways 96 and CB, near the Appleton International Airport and was turned over to the postal service.
The United States Postal Inspection Service immediately began investigating and we reserve further comment on this matter until that is complete, spokesman Bob Sheehan told the news station.
The postal service did not disclose how many ballots were included in the trays.

Probably from a Republican district.

Isn’t that what caused the problem in the first place?
Can I assume that the postal worker who committed this Federal crime is now in custody?
As long as they are mostly Dem ballots...
They are. Outagamie County has voted for the Republican presidential candidate in 12 of the last 15 presidential elections.
Never stand in the way of someone destroying their personal credibility on their own.
Yes, but this ensures they’re disenfranchised.
The surprising mission of the Postal Service police who arrested Stephen Bannon
Everyone feel better now?
But how could they know who did it?

The mail is PERFECTLY safe...
Move along...nothing to see here...
Well, I had a long talk with the fox about intruders in the chicken coup - he said he'd look into it....
The DOJ should immediately monitor the postal inspector cases very closely.

Would that be a misdemeanor, throwing away mail?
Justice Department needs to impound those ballots and find out who filled them out, who were the ‘supposed’ respondents, and who is behind this fraud. It is there job.

********
No, he was promoted to district manager..... sarc/
I can believe it. The other day I attempted to mail a package using an old USPS Priority Express box that I had. The USPS label was not Priority Express and I was told that they can’t accept it since the shipping label did not match what was printed on the box!! Apparently too confusing for the average postal worker!
It was all I could do to contain myself from getting a sharpie and crossing out “priority express’ on the box.
Yep.
