Former Vice President Joe Biden and President Donald Trump have struck a dead heat in the race for North Carolina, according to a poll released Monday.
An Emerson College/Nexstar Media poll of North Carolina likely voters found that 50 percent would vote for Biden, while 49 percent would vote for Trump. With the polls 3.6 percent margin of error, this makes the race for North Carolinas 15 electoral votes a virtual tie. One percent of voters remain undecided.
The Emerson College poll in August had Trump leading by two points against Biden, or 48 to 46 percent, with six percent of voters undecided.

Dems say the exact same thing - "Hard to believe anyone in State X can vote for Trump and the R ticket." Shows an unbridgeable divide.
More than a few very good, apolitical people have voted Dem because their folks did and/or 'the were always told it is the party of the people.'
You mean the people that RE-elected Buckwheat? Are they that stupid? I rest my case.
Trump is spending a lot of time in NC, so his internal polls must indicate its a tossup also.
Trump is up about 5-6 points in NC. Emersons final poll in 2016, had Hillary up by 3, and Trump outperformed the RCP average by over 3 points. The internals of the poll are nonsense as evidenced by the commanding lead Trump has with Independents. Larry has been over NC in detail. Its not a concern for Trump. He will win it easily.
I just don’t understand how anyone could vote for Biden...for Pete’s sake! But they are.
In all these polls I find it impossible to see the Party of those polled (R-D or IND)
I’ll bet a significant number of North Carolinians would be please to have another conservative on the Supreme Court.
This issue is a big bonus for most all GOP candidates who support Trump’s pick and vote before the election.
I think Collins goes down in flames by not supporting Trump, the constitution an the Rule of law here.
"Trump leads unaffiliated voters 55% to 43%, while 90% of Democrats support Joe Biden and 89% of Republicans support Donald Trump"
.... Dems over sampled and independents should now be 40%.
Data was collected using an Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system of landlines (n=208), SMS-to-web texts (n=173), and an online panel provided by MTurk (n=337).
Seems massaged to me.
Polling shows it to be close and only a small difference
for the last few months...

Yes, they are; NC is being overrun by NY, NJ, and PA liberals. Trump might could win the state again if the electorate consisted primarily of native born
Tar Heels.
They have a great attraction to the letter “D.”
People in DE are particularly on board for Biden.
I think Trump is going to crush Biden. They’re just trying to save face now.
By the way, how will Biden and the DNC afford 600+ lawyers when it comes time to contest the ballots/election?
In the next four years there will be two more openings. I pray that its Trump who fills them.
Trump will fill them, but we need the senate to confirm. Collins will lose her election over this.
Drove all around the Raleigh-Chapel Hill region this weekend.........saw one solo Biden sign....just one. Tons of Trump Pence signs.
Trumps will top his 2016 numbers big time....
JoeJoe and Hunter and Heels Up Horror Show do not deserve 1 Electoral Vote.
A 47-year pig at the trough and a strategically placed prostitue. C’mon man.
They have a great attraction to the letter D.
ROFLMAO...must’ve been Sesame Street indoctrination. Laugh-of-the-day for me. Thanks, Theodore R.
Just when you think it cannot get any worse than Hillary and Tim Kaine.
In case anyone forgot...
