AMERICA PRAYER VIGIL - SEPTEMBER 20, 2020 (PRAYER)

Please join with fellow FREEPERS to pray for President Trump, Vice-President Pence, and for America: Government, Family, Military, Business, Education, Churches, and the Media.

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. (I John 5:14)

The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good,
your whole body will be full of light. But if your eye is bad,
your whole body will be full of darkness… Matthew 6:22-23

Heavenly Father,

We thank You for this day that You have made. Help us to rejoice and be glad in it as we think about You and all that You have done. You are our God and we thank You. We love You, Father, because You hear our voices and our supplications; because You bow down Your ear unto us, and because You answer us in ways far more wonderful than we can imagine or think according to Your awesome power at work in us through Christ Jesus. May our eyes behold Your goodness so that our hearts and minds may be full of Your light.

Hear our prayer for our President, Lord. Surely You will continue to bear his burdens for him. We pray that he would be filled with all manner of wisdom, understanding, counsel, might, knowledge, and the fear of the Lord. Father, we ask You to choose the next Supreme Court justice and make Your will known unto President Trump. May he continue to seek Your ways and walk in Your path. Lord, may Your angels continue to surround him and his family and keep them in all their ways. Shield him from all the plots and schemes of the evil one, and may all Your purposes for him be fulfilled.

Lord, we need every single Christian in this nation to vote in this election. May Your Spirit call each one to fulfill his responsibility to get to the polls and to vote for Godly men and women of integrity. Lord, we come against every plot and scheme of the enemy to cheat in this election. In Jesus’ Name, we say that the Lord’s purposes shall prevail.

We hold up our military men and women, our police and first responders to You and ask You to help them to be filled with the light of Your countenance as they serve in places that may be unsafe or unpleasant. Lord, use these days, months, and years in their lives to bring goodness and blessing to them. Help them to dwell in the light of Your love and grace.

Lord, we do pray for the family of Ruth Ginsburg and we ask that they be comforted by Your peace. We come against any agitators who would use this death as yet another reason to burn, destroy, and pillage. May they be dealt with swiftly and justly.

Please make each of us instruments of Your peace this day. Help us to be a part of America’s recovery---to lift her up in prayer each day, and to trust in You to help us repent for the sins of this nation. We call upon Your mercy, Lord, and Your grace to save us from this present evil day. Help us, Lord God, and deliver us from all the lies of the evil one. We ask for revival in this nation, that America may seek to honor You and that we would truly be one nation, under You, our God. In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

For what it’s worth [a lot], my FB page is filled with prayers from ‘prayer Warriors’ everyday. Involking Jesus and ALmighty God to protect our POTUS and VP from harm, to guide them in their decisions and to help them win reelection based upon their righteous leadership during this time of urgent need. I look upon Trump as a modern King David type of leadership. Bold and God-fearing. You know, it is sort of unfair to overload the election with such strength in prayer as we are seeing in this election. The leftists have no idea that prayer has any value as they are unbelievers. They will never fully comprehend what hit them on the morning of November 4th. Of course I say this rather tongue in cheek.

God is Good, God is Great, God is Love. He is on our side in this fight, I have no doubt.

May he continue to seek Your ways and walk in Your path.

Praising YOU Father for how *presidential* and heartfelt President Trump’s off the cuff remarks were, upon hearing of the passing of Justice Ginsburg on live TV. Thanking You for the numerous observers in this country and around the world commenting online, making note of his unscripted authenticity and good-will —which the media has so desperately tried to distort or keep hid these past 4 years!

Praying now for even MORE opportunities for the President to bypass the media and showcase his best self, as he shares the many overlooked accomplishments of his administration and states his case before the American people. Give him resounding victory in every debate with Biden from first till last. Praying the same for Vice President Pence especially as he faces off with Senator Harris at their debate on October 7th.

The violent, destructive protests in major cities across the country were expected to reach a sustained 50-day apex with thousands of protesters “laying siege” to the White House starting at noon September 17 and lasting until Election Day, November 3.

Not only did they hope to dislodge President Trump from the White House and install Democrats Joe Biden and Kamala Harris in his place, but they hoped to “inspire a global movement of systemic change — a Global Spring — a cultural heave towards a new world order.”

However, the organizers of the grandiose plan began backpedaling a couple weeks ago, presumably because they realized that the destructive nature of proliferating urban civil unrest was not sitting well with the American people, and “laying siege” to the White House might damage their cause.

AMEN. A righteous Holy Spirit-filled judge ushering in a new era of righteousness and restored foundations. Praying that this generation will not pass until Roe v Wade is overturned. In Jesus’ name.
