The Atlantic magazine raised eyebrows on Friday when it published a piece calling for the abolition of the Nobel Peace Prize after President Trump was nominated for the prestigious honor.
The president's name was submitted for the 2021 prize by Norwegian lawmaker Christian Tybring-Gjedde, who cited Trump's role in brokering a peace agreement between Israel and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Trump has since earned a second nomination from Swedish lawmaker Magnus Jacobsson for overseeing an economic deal between Kosovo and Serbia.
The nominations, however, apparently didn't sit well with the liberal magazine, which declared Friday that "peace had its chance, and blew it."

I have a great idea! Let’s all pretend the Atlantic magazine doesn’t exist. Erase the words from your vocabulary. It is a magazine that exists for propaganda reasons only, so let’s dump it the latrine.
More likely he will match it with a $million from his private funds and donate the entire amount to families whose relatives have been killed by antifa/blm thugs.
Trump knows the value of money and symbolism that will drive the dims bonkers one more time.
It was in Nobel’s will. His wishes should be respected.

Tybring-Gjedde said he said he doesn’t agree with all of Trump’s policies.
“I am not a big Trump supporter,” he said.
The atlantic is a pseudo-intellectual leftist rag.
It doesn’t matter that much. It has been a participation trophy since they gave it to Obama. Now it has no meaning.
The Atlantic calls for the end of professional journalism. Let’s end the farce of the Pulitzer Prize while we’re at it.

The end of The Atlantic will happen before the Nobel goes.
I think that’s why a second nomination , this time for the ‘US Governments peace efforts’, was made.
That way it can be given for the Peace Process without giving it to Trump.
Cancel the Left
When Obama won the prize, I don’t remember anyone on the Right calling for abolishing it. I mainly heard conservatives say that the Nobel Peace Prize isn’t worth much these days.
I wanted it ended back when Arafat got it.
They used to have some good short stories.
