Turkey on Sunday voiced disappointment over majority-Muslim Kosovo's decision to recognize Israel and set up its mission in Jerusalem.
A vocal advocate of the Palestinian cause, Turkey became one of the first countries to recognize Kosovo, which declared its independence from Serbia in 2008.
"Even the thought by Kosovo officials of taking such a step - which is a clear violation of international law - is disappointing," the Turkish foreign ministry said in a statement.
The ministry called on the Kosovo leadership to avoid such steps that would harm the legal status of Jerusalem. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Friday that Serbia will become the first European country to transfer its embassy to Jerusalem.

And Turkey needs to get out of Northern Cyprus, they should have been kicked out of NATO for that alone.

And yet, Turkey recognizes Isreal.
I have met the Israel Ambassador in Ankara, Turkey.
I don’t understand this current Turkish administration’s anti-Israel stance.
For DECADES, their government was not against Israel and this policy has not harmed or affected them one bit.
Now, after Erdogan became leader, they want to foment discord against a tiny nation that has never done them any harm.
What exactly does Turkey gain from this? How does it benefit their people as opposed to being friendly towards Israel?

The article is a bit convoluted, but I infer that Turkey is upset because Kosovo is going to put its diplomatic mission in Jerusalem (not Tel Aviv) in exchange for Israel’s agreement to recognize Kosovo as an independent state. Kosovo’s recognition of Israel is, itself, not the issue.
Erdogan is an Islamist of the Muslim Brotherhood variety.
He thinks of himself as the next Sultan.
I truly believe he will start a war in the ME soon.
