Right on schedule, it seems to me. You can bet that the media/dems will call on the GOP to cancel their convention because of the riots, which I’m sure will spread to other cities and states. If the convention isn’t canceled they’ll point to it as another indication of “white supremacy” and “republican racism”.

I would have thought that if I pulled a gun on an armored vehicle to stop it, it would en in extreme prejudice to myself, including a gas pedal to the floor and then maybe backing up to inquire as to my health and well being.

This is a set up on the police departments. They are trying to incite a shootout with the police plain and simple. This is what they want. They want to paint the police as the aggressors. Sad but true. I doubt they have ammo or those could be airsoft guns. credit to the PD for not taking the bait.

That being said, never adopt the Language of the Left. An “Assault Weapon” is any inanimate object used to cause Injury or Death of another. A Baseball Bat is just a Baseball Bat until it is used to hit someone in the Head. At that point in time it becomes an “Assault Weapon”.
If they are applying the term to a Semi Automatic Rifle (like Joementia and Hoementia always do) they are pandering to the Ignorant amongst us, IE other DEMONcRATS and Soccer Mom RINOS.
Take careful note of one common denominator in all of these Marxist vs cops confrontations: the Marxists rely upon the virtue and decency of the police to not retaliate. Would they stand in front of an armored vehicle if they didn’t fully well realize that the person driving will not drive over them? They are counting on the decency of the cops. The guy in red with the rifle knew what they were going to do (use tear gas). He knew they wouldn’t shoot him.
So, the Marxists have a distinct advantage in all of these confrontations; they know what the cops will not do, but the cops have no idea what these random people will do. It’s only a matter of time before one of two things happens: 1. The Marxists start using IEDs and heavier artillery to kill cops, 2. The cops feel threatened enough to open fire.
Note that confrontations between Marxists and “regular Americans” do not have this presumed decency factor to the same extent. This is why you have citizens who panic or go through a fight-or-flight episode and drive over rioters.
