Jerry Falwell Jr., the son of late evangelical leader Jerry Falwell, revealed Sunday that his wife had an affair with a family friend that sent him into a depression he described as like living on a roller coaster.
The admission follows Falwell Jr. being placed on indefinite leave from his post as president of Liberty University two weeks ago, after a controversy surrounding a racy Instagram photo he had posted.
In a statement sent to the Washington Examiner, Falwell admitted that his wife, Becki Falwell, struck up an inappropriate personal relationship with a Florida pool boy who worked at one of the familys properties.

No, he just hangs out by his parents pool a lot with no intention of getting work.
Whatever financial shenanigans Jerry is caught up in, he’s playing the mental illness card. Why would he bring his supposed depression up? He’s hoping he’ll get sympathy and a pass from the public, saying how brave he is to bring awareness to the cause.
Also, Jerry supposedly lost 80 lbs. from the stress. If so, why couldn’t he zip his pants he wore in that gross photo while wearing the old jeans he used to fit into? Bizarre. There’s more to this than what’s out there.
Plus, why now? It’s all we’re gonna hear about this week during the convention. What a dumbass!
maybe Jerry and his wife should spend more time in church if they are gonna preeech to others. hypocrites!!
In my early 20's I was a bartender at the pool side bar at a very exclusive Country Club and the members referred to me {or any pool bartender} as the 'pool boy'.
It was a great summer job with many fringe benefits:)
I never missed a day of work.
People like that have no shame. Falwell will spend a few months in “reflection,” then he will announce that “Jesus forgave him” and, well, he, Falwell, is is an awesome dude to accept such awesome forgiveness and he needs to get right back to “preaching the Word.” He’ll start a mega-church and the money will roll in. People will gladly pay for a bit of cheap grace.
He was "Granada" where a man needs to be.
If Mr. Falwell were a minister, I think you’d be right. However, he isn’t. He has always been a businessman, starting out in real estate and then taking over at the university.
On the other hand, he could decide his next business will be a church, especially if he thinks it would provide access to a lot of young women.
A story as old as recorded history:
"Then the man said, The woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I ate."
Genesis 3:12
Apply jessi jaksun / rev run king expectation treatment to it sleep and wake up in the morning like it never even happened.
Imagine giving this idiot money or saying hes your spiritual leader. What a POS.
You might want to educate yourself before posting. You DO know Junior is an ATTORNEY, don’t you? He isn’t a minister. He doen’t preach.
Presumptuous aren’t you?
I was amused at the way Falwell tried to explain away the photograph where he was holding a glass and he was with a young woman in kind of an improper way. He was quick to explain that the glass he held did not contain an alcoholic drink, it just looked that way. Priorities. He knows what his priorities are, lol.
Dont bother.
Youll just confuse them......they dont want the facts, just innuendo and gossip
If this story weren’t about real people with real lives, including children, it would be a rip-roaring farce.
Older guy, obviously going to seed, known for bragging about the size of his whing-whang ... wife is doing the pool boy ...
A pool boy.
How cliche is that?
Actually, Robert Heinlein did. Or he at least had an inkling of the ramifications before most. He predicted that freely available contraception for women, with no negative moral judgement, would turn women into the more aggressive and active sex.
Pool-boy?
This would make a great movie script.

Sounds like one of those Harlequin romance novels for women.
Romance novels? They are pornography aimed at females.
For every soul folks like this may save, there are ten others who get turned off forever from being saved because of these hypocrites.
