CALIFORNIA Congresswoman Maxine Waters has said Joe Biden will have to choose a black woman as his running mate if he wants to win the election.
The black Democrat representative said Biden can't "go home without a black woman being VP."
In a live interview with ESSENCE on Friday, Waters said: "Let me guarantee you this, based on everything that I know and understand, and the help that [Biden] has already gotten from the black community…he can’t go home without a black woman being VP.”
She added: “We’re going to have a black woman VP."
