A middle-aged couple is under fire after they berated a group of teenagers and punched one of the boys because they were not wearing face masks inside a Walmart in Post Falls, Idaho.
"You guys are abusing your freedom. Stop it," the woman said just before hitting one of the boys in the shoulder.
The North Idaho News reports that police were contacted and the victim intends to press charges.
"You think this is cute not wearing a mask," the man said. "Get a damn mask and put it on your face."
The woman was literally screaming to anyone who would listen, "Their parents are teaching them this garbage."
Jill Dickenson, the mother of the boys in the video, told North Idaho Exposed in an exclusive interview that she infuriated by the attack. You can watch the interview by clicking here.
"My blood was boiling," she said. "We live in a country that we have freedoms. We have liberties. For my kids to walk into Walmart and get apprehended and accosted the way they did - it's uncalled for.”
She was just as upset with the store's management.
"Walmart did nothing about it," she said. "The employees - some of them stood around laughing - mask shaming with this couple."
Mrs. Dickenson's son said he and his friends were asked to wear masks when they first walked into the store, but they declined to do so. The boys were still allowed in the store.
One of her sons told North Idaho Exposed that the couple approached them and immediately began harassing the boys.
"We hope your grandparents die of COVID," the couple allegedly said.
When they came back, one of the boys turned on his cell phone and recorded the encounter.
"I was angry like any mom would be," Mrs. Dickenson said. “The momma bear came out in me and I'm like, 'Oh no she didn't.'"
The country has gone slap crazy, folks.
Just the other day a woman in Manhattan Beach, California, threw a cup of hot coffee at a man because he was noshing a burrito unmasked.
“It’s hard to eat a burrito with a mask on,” the man tried to explain before his buddy was pelted by piping hot java.
It appears that a good-many folks have come down with a raging case of China Virus Derangement Syndrome and I’m afraid there is no known cure.
“I suffer from sudden onset temporary illiteracy.”
LOL
we think alike...someone coughs on me and says “COVID”, I will spit on them and say “AIDS”.
Nope.
I hate to think we have reached the stage where someone cant quietly say, Arent you required to wear a mask here? but first go to the manager or policeman. Maybe you are right,
Even if it was their “policy” why would you do any of those things? Seriously, the police?????
Do you go around in the grocery stores and ask young women wearing flip flops or sandals, “aren’t you required to wear shoes in here?” The policy is “no shirt, no shoes, no service” It states nothing about footwear. Shoes cover both the top and bottoms of your foot. There policy says shoes for a safety reason. So, if you are wearing flip flops, or slippers, you are not following their policy.
Shoe definition, an external covering for the human foot, usually of leather and consisting of a more or less stiff or heavy sole and a lighter upper part ending a short distance above, at, or below the ankle.
Lastly, I whole heartedly applaud these boys. You should too.
I was replying to someone who didn’t want a regular person saying anything corrective, even if politely, to his precious teenagers.
In that case, the only alternative that person has, if they want to do something, is to go to the manager or policeman.
I would not applaud the boys for violating a private business’s rules.
You (purposely?) left out the part about Corporate Walmart policy that does not require the mask.
Why?
Do the women in your life go to the store in flip flops? AT least that store policy makes sense to folks with common sense. If you witnessed a drowning dog in a pond, but there was a sign saying no swimming, would you just let that poor dog drown? This tyranny by our govt. using essential business like grocery stores to be their goon squads need to stop. What part of that don’t you understand.
Just as I applaud these boys (and you should too) I applaud the person who ignored the swimming sign, and saved the dog.
Nobody pays attention to the arrows anymore. Not even most of the Karens. The idea was too stupid to begin with.
Straw man after straw men.
Flip flop and boots are all shoes. Not sure your point.
In my state the government doesn’t require masks. It was the business’s decision.
These boys did not save anybody. If somebody ignored the no swimming sign and peed in your pool would they be a hero?
It’s very revealing about the true character of many of her “friends”. Some she has known since she was a child and some were her teachers in grade school and high school who spoke glowingly of freedom, liberty and a great America when she had them in school and now they talk like a Pravda news story.
Many are church members who have forsaken God to help them and now worship at the alter of their savior his majesty the governor aka king in Frankfort. If he told them to go live in a chicken coop and lick a chickens butt it would save their lives they would knock each other down to do so and damn you for not following their gods edicts.
My pastor who opened our church up in defiance of the little tin horn despot in Frankfort on Mothers Day following CDC guidelines. He brought a message tailored for church members like some of my wife’s friends Sunday morning. He asked in the sermon, are you staying away from church and keeping your church doors closed because you think you are helping God and are morally superior for doing so? You’re not going to outdo God, he doesn’t need your help, you need his and keeping his house closed to make you feel good about yourself is just an excuse to stay home.
Flip flop and boots are all shoes. \
They most certainly are not shoes. Shoes protect your foot from things like a falling steak knife, or flying glass from a broken pickle jar. flip flops protect only the sole of your foot. I even posted the definition of shoes, and you still don’t get it.
My suggestion is for all “karens” to stop giving directives. Especially to teens who are not doing anything wrong. If I had a teen, I would make it very clear that I did not want them to wear one of those filthy, disgusting petri dishes on the mouth and nose. I sure as heck don’t want some nosy busybody going to my child and telling them otherwise. If the store doesn’t want to let them in, fine. I will go to said store, and if they have a “no shirt, no shoes” policy, I will “politely” demand they kick out all the flip flop and slipper wearers. I assume as a freeper you would want ALL policies enforced equally, right?
It’s really sad that you wife has lost so many friends.
I hope she can make new ones among the people who go to your church.
I linked the article. But if you persist...
Walmart is a leader in hiring employees from vulnerable classes - the handicapped, the infirm, the pregnant, the immuno-compromised, the elderly. In a ‘polite society,’ patrons are socially obligated to show the same courtesy towards WalMart employees and their policies to protect their employees as they show us by showing up to work in the first place. And then there’s the yoot class, who feel employees are beneath them and policies are for squares.
WalMart is too big an operation to physically bar entry like a mom and pop shop can and do. Grandpa Greeter sure isn’t about to risk his health being attacked by mental midget yoots who think they are ‘special’. At the same time, WalMart has a legal duty to try to protect their employees and their patrons; shoppers and employees want to feel safe. And so, policy.
Asking politely to be excused, even with the flimsiest reason as to why someone can’t possibly wear a kerchief for 30 minutes (which doesn’t restrict breathing at all btw) most likely will result in an equally polite, ‘ok’. For real, how long are you going to be in the store? Being passive-aggressive isn’t interpreted as friendly and it’s not going to earn you a lot of smiles from staff or customers who may feel threatened, unsafe and disrespected.
As for granny, yup, she had a mental break. That’s indisputable. But because we read ‘karen’ all compassion and concern as to what ‘triggered’ wyt girl to respond that way, what was said before the video started, goes out the window. Has she lost someone? Have a parent trapped in a nursing home? Or hospital? Is she afraid of dying? Is it her first time in public in 4 months? Doesn’t matter - she’s a ‘karen’ so she’s just a mean witch, right? And it’s such a good distraction from the passive-aggressiveness of the yoots.
It’s too bad mom and son and granny couldn’t get together for a beer summit, apologize to each other, understand each other and move on. Although, ironically, mom might have set her son up. How will the football team react to a mommy’s boy who’s afraid of grannies? In the midst of a pandemic, in the midst of a vulnerable worker population, there are much better swords to fall on than one’s own ego.
i have injured my knee and it is quite painful to walk any distance right now. i am not going to walk twice as far in the store to obey some silly arrows. The virus doesnt obey them either
Had a little girl come up to me with a pack of bubble gum and very excited. I asked her how she could blow a bubble with her mask on. She looked at me and giggled. Her mom had a good chuckle.
Take one of those fat person scooters, then.
No thank you. I havent even seen those at the grocery store recently. Im just not walking twice as far to obey some stupid arrow on the floor
So why did you leave out the part about Walmart Corporate policy that doesn’t require the mask?
You’re being dishonest, and trying to hide it with a lot of words.
‘The teenage should have been taught to obey the rules wherever he goes.’
yeah...? what about when the rules are pointless and stupid, like requiring healthy people to wear dirty masks around other healthy people...?
‘This insanity crosses gender lines.’
disagree; 65-35 women worse than men about this; lots of men only get involved in shaming because their women get them involved...
