A Russian think tank reported on Sunday, that Turkey has allegedly concluded a military cooperation agreement with a country bordering Libya.

According to Eurasia Political Studies website, "Katehon", who quoted private sources in the Libyan Government of National Accord (GNA), Turkey had signed a military cooperation agreement with the country of Niger, which is located at the southern border of Libya.

The site indicated that this agreement between Turkey and Niger will strengthen Ankara's control in the region, as the latter will support African countries, especially the Sahel countries, to be more effective in the issue of resolving the Libyan crisis.

A Libyan political analyst said to the site: "Niger suffers a lot at all levels from the stalling of its relations with Libya, especially the economically. Hence, Turkey will be an ally and support the African country on the one hand, and this agreement can also enable the Turkish government to gain access to heart of Africa, so it is possible that this military agreement can pave the way to reduce French influence and reduce the chances of French military threats. "

In the same context, the Libyan expert, Ismail Bezinka, said that "the signing of the military agreement between the two countries will be in the interest of both parties, as Turkey will benefit through its expansion inside the country, and Niger in playing a greater role in the file of the neighboring country, Libya, as well as major economic benefits."

Bezinka expects that "the next country will be Chad to sign the military cooperation agreement, especially as economic and diplomatic cooperation is in continuous development between the two countries.

Access to mercenary recruits, at rock bottom prices. Gadaffi used them as well.

Niger is in the French sphere of influence.

There is going to be push back from France.

France fights islamists, Turkey arms them with modern weapons.

“Niger needs all the help it can get.”

Erdogan is not going there to help them. He is going to create greater violence, like everywhere else he goes.

Notice that it is Military, not economic.

He “helped” Syria into the biggest refugee movement since WWII.

There is nowhere that Erdogan commits resources out of charity. He is there to further his desire for conquest and plunder.

Niger is among the northern African states that has been under attack by foreign-funded jihadists, and it needs all the *military* help it can get.

Turkey is the main Nation State that provides the arms to Sunni jihadists. They are the foreign funders of jihad.
They provided ISIS the full suite of logistical support.

ISIS was allowed to openly operate dozens of offices in Turkey. ISIS casualties were provided free medical care in Turkish hospitals, as explicit policy. The great bulk of ISIS foreign recruits came through Turkey. The oil that ISIS smuggled out to fund their operations, went out through Turkey, with heavy involvement of Erdogan’s own immediate family. The great bulk of the ammo fired by ISIS in Syria can from Turkish Military arsenals. Qatar wrote checks, but Turkey provided all the beans and bullets, and more.

The headquarters of the Islamic Brotherhood is now in Turkey, as guests of the Government.

Turkey is now the hub of militant Sunni jihadists. That is the side they are going to be on in Niger.

Ever since President Trump reimposed sanctions on Iran, the overall level of terrorism has fallen way off -- and like all other backers of jihad, Iran didn't give a **** about Sunni or Shia. Neither should anyone else. Jihad is jihad, jihadists are jihadists.

Jihadists are jihadists are jihadists. Same goes for islamofascists and islamofascism. Iran was the primary funding source of worldwide jihad, but POTUS slapped those sanctions back on their sorry asses and peace treaties and normalization has come spilling out.
