>>There is no quote in the article in which the President indicates he “often” regrets tweets. The sentiment may be hinted at, but the quote marks are misleading.<<

It is msnbc, print edition. The fact the data in the article do not add up to the headline is their stock in trade.

I don’t know if he actually said it but I agree he could do with less and better tweets and more action.

Because no one has ever done or said anything they regretted except for Trump.

Wait until you’re older. You will outgrow that.

Fair enough.
I can respect a man who admits his mistakes.
My wife never does. But she’s not a man.
Oh nuts, that’s gotta by 3x unPC or something... nevermind.

“Yeah, this doesn’t ring true to me.
IMO he doesn’t write half the tweets he sends.
He has someone on staff that does it.
When Dan Rather tweets about the insanity of 3am Tweets by the POTUS, Dan Rather is being fatuous.“

Yup, it’s Dan Scavino, and sometimes he’s 3 seconds late.

To Trump at this point there is no such thing as bad publicity. Even if it’s a gotcha interview, the mere fact that he is taking interviews shines a spotlight on the fact that Biden is not.

More fake news from a left wing site that hates President Trump and his deploreables.

I don’t regret any of Trump’s tweets.

If it can get a liberal’s blood pressure to blow an artery then more power to his tweets.

Or brings out the subversive Never Trumpsters on FR frothing at the mouth, saying they will never vote for him.

Some of them hand the terrorists ammo, pointlessly. Most of them are right on point. He needs a filter to examine all tweets to see if there is anything for the enemy to misinterpret.

Who doesn’t?

Well, maybe me...I simply scan hostile replies for informational purposes but I don’t think any are worthy of a response, simply because the posters are not rational. I refuse to engage in shouting matches,

So you hate me? I’ve stated my piece, you can like it or not, but I don’t care.

Any Freeper who would help the terrorists win should be banned.

“Yeah, this doesn’t ring true to me.”

Same here. 100% suspicious that Trump would regret a Tweet. No way. His Titter account is the second best thing on the internet, after Free Republic.

I don’t think you are alone. I regret often enough things I write on FR.

But I also regret things I have said in person to people. I don’t try to be hostile or nasty, but I am opinionated and quick to boil. My temper really does boil over suddenly like some things do on the stove.

For me, it is a personal fault I battle in life. I always try to do better, and as I have aged...and I do. But I wish I had better control of my temper. As my anger level increases, my rationality seems to decrease by a commensurate amount.

I feel that literally sometimes I really do see red. I hate it, it is a lack of personal control that makes it difficult to navigate certain emotional battlefields in life.

It isn’t that I can’t keep my head in a crisis and think clearly, I can do that to a good degree. It is when I get angry.

I have taught myself on FR to work better at this, because tempers do flare here quite hotly.

He should really regret today’s. Actually complained on Twitter about not being liked on Twitter and said it’s illegal! Jeezus.

The entire thread is a complete meltdown as anyone could predict.
