There is no quote in the article in which the President indicates he “often” regrets tweets. The sentiment may be hinted at, but the quote marks are misleading.
Do ABC, NY Times, or WashPoo ever regret their fake news? Even when they are caught Red handed?
I have been saying for a while the gate keeper before he hits send should be Melania. Happy Wife, Happy Life, and add to that someone from a former Soviet Block Country and the common sense they/she brings to the table.

I’ve stopped believing anything reported as news these days unless I hear it right from the source. Taking things out of contact also seem a favorite trick of the MSM.

I don’t know if I’m typical of American but I do,on occasion,regret things I’ve said.I even occasionally regret things I post here on FR.
A small, but heavily publicized, number of his tweets have been defensive and personality based. He needs to tweet facts and issues. And make major policy speeches. He could learn from Ronald Reagan, the great communicator.
I don’t regret any of Trump’s tweets. If it can get a liberal’s blood pressure to blow an artery then more power to his tweets.
