Over the past few weeks, people in Utah have been reporting mysterious packages theyve been receiving in the mail from China.
Lori Culley, who lives in Tooele, said she was excited to find two small packages in her mailbox on Tuesday. Although most of the writing on the outside was in Chinese, the label indicated there would be earrings inside.
I opened them up and they were seeds, Culley said. Obviously theyre not jewelry!
Culley couldnt understand why she would be receiving mislabeled seeds from China in the mail, but at first she didnt think much of it.
She posted about the strange incident on Facebook, where some of her friends reminded her plants and seeds are strictly regulated in Utah.
FOX 13 has confirmed the Utah Department of Agriculture and Food will likely team up with Customs and Border Protection agents to investigate.

Why not? They can jpin the body smatcher pods to use againts Trump supporters.
That is the most horrifying movie I’ve ever seen. (It was probably the one that caused me to swear off of violent, sadistic movies for the rest of my life.)
That was really wicked when she set fire to the handyman’s quarters. His screams were horrifying.
Kind of like all the test kit swabs found to contain Covid
Don’t plant that s***! Next thing you know we’ll be trying to sterilize the area with nuclear weapons!
I don’t want to think about it.
The only one I can recall that was equally horrifying was some Twilight Zone or Outer Limits episode where a bunch of gamblers had fingers chopped-off for losing.
Space in my brain is too high-rent for that kind of thing.
(Though the Karen Black one with the sort of ‘voodoo doll’ - Trilogy of Terror’ - was actually sort of funny...)
Invasive plants can cause all sorts of problems. This definitely needs investigation.
God no
Ag may have folks in conspirwcy with the phucking chinese.
I wonder if they are hoping to mess with our food supply by introducing genetically modified genes into the gene pool that will render the plants sterile and incapable of producing seed for next year’s crop.
There have been cases of farmers being sued because wind blown pollen from Monsanto crops contaminated other crops and the genetic markers passed on, unbeknownst to the farmer.
Or it’s seed for some invasive species plant that will ruin the natural habitat for native plants.
I DO. NOT. TRUST. CHINA.
Kudzu!
Who would open a mystery package from China?
Yep.
