The White House has disputed the book's claims, which includes the charge that the president cheated on his SATs, paying a friend to take them for him so he could attend the University of Pennsylvania's famous Wharton School of Business.

A spokesperson said the book was written 'clearly in the author's own financial self-interest.'

'The President describes the relationship he had with his father as warm and said his father was very good to him,' White House spokeswoman Sarah Matthews said earlier this month. 'Also, the absurd SAT allegation is completely false.'

The book paints a dark portrait of the Trump family and says that the President's father Fred Sr neglected him so much it amounted to 'child abuse'.

The psychological damage was such that Donald became a sociopath, a narcissist and a threat to the entire country, according to Mary.

Mary, 55, portrays the family as deeply damaged people, starting with Fred Sr and his wife Mary Ann and filtering down to their five children.

In the interview, Mary Trump also recalled visiting with her uncle in the Oval Office several months after he was inaugurated.

‘He already seemed very strained by the pressures... and I just remember thinking, “He seems tired. He seems like this is not what he signed up for,”’ she said.

A clip of the interview was published on Tuesday, and the full interview is scheduled to air Wednesday morning. It is the first time people can hear from the author herself about life in the Trump family.

It comes after Judge Hal Greenwald of the New York State Supreme Court stopped the Trump family’s attempt to gag Mary Trump from talking about her book - ‘Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the World’s Most Dangerous Man’ - which was released on Tuesday.

Okay, so there’s one more kook out there on the internet demanding that Trump resign, yadda yadda.

The fact that she shares a portion of his DNA is irrelevant.

Laura played a clip of Stephanopolis interviewing Mary.

Like most shrinks, she's a mess.

I believe this woman is like 20 years younger than Donald Trump, so how much does she REALLY know about his upbringing? I say nada much.

The successful people in life have always had to deal with lesser people trying to take them down.

There’s one in every family.

I had an aunt like that. She was my mom’s youngest sister who was always certain she was being slighted and not given enough attention.

The whole family suffered because of her antics. Decades of discord passed, before SHE did.

She was proof of the saying: ‘People who are easily and readily offended are displaying a profound and pathological sense of inadequacy.’

Sociopath?

She should look in the mirror.

I was raised with a brother that was an officially diagnosed ‘sociopath’ at age 13, and he remained one till his death at age 51, from complications of drug abuse.

I know all about real sociopathic behavior. They have no compassion or love in them. From a Freudian point of view, they are ‘pure Id’.

Trump is no sociopath.....................

I believe this statement I found on a fact check about Mary provides the answer as to why:

The book is titled, “Too Much And Never Enough,” according to The Daily Beast’s Lachlan Cartwright. Mary Trump is a psychologist and life coach who lives in New York. She has not spoken out in the media about her uncle’s presidency or presidential campaign, BUT HAS BEEN INVOLVED IN A FEUD WITH HIM DATING BACK TO 2000, when she and her brother contested Trump’s parents’ will, The Daily Beast reports.

Sorry. Mr. President, there is ONE in every family. Mary is THAT one.

As I said prior, she is VERY jealous.

Here’s more proof of her GREED. I’ve been through enough family estate disasters to understand when an heir dies, the other sibling normally wind up with their share. It doesn’t go to the children of the deceased heir unless the family decides to do so and place it in a will. Trump’s father made provisions for ALL the grandchildren, but it wasn’t good enough for Miss Mary and her brother. They wanted MORE just as she claims the other Trumps do in the book. Telling...

************************

“Mary Trump and Fred Trump III sought one-fifth of their grandfather’s estate, according to the Daily News, claiming it would have been given to their father if he were alive. All of Fred Trump Sr.’s grandchildren received $200,000 from the estate, and the majority was split between his four surviving children. Mary Trump and Fred Trump III argued it should have been split five ways. According to the Daily News, Donald Trump said he was fulfilling his father’s wishes to not treat Mary and Fred III differently than the other grandchildren.”
