President Donald Trump attacked a pair of Republican senators who condemned his Friday night order to grant clemency to longtime advisor Roger Stone calling them Republicans 'in name only.'
His late-night blast came after they became the only GOP senators to rebuke Trump for eliminating the 40-month sentence for his longtime associate, who was convicted by a jury of witness tampering and lying to Congress.
The response of Romney the only Republican to vote for an article of impeachment against Trump was withering, while that of Toomey was more measured, but both said Trump's decision was wrong.

The Congressman came to the Philly tea party demonstration near the Independence Mall (where Independence Hall and Liberty Bell situated) in early 2009, talked a good talk, but after he won his seat replacing Arlen Specter, (who turned Democrat then lost to the real Dem candidate), the best you can say about him is that he has had a regrettable senate career (so far).
As Trump rightfully pointed out all of Toomey’s ‘righteous anger’ never aims at our true enemy, he only comes out and diss president Trump or something like that.
And that they are. Screw them both.
Toomey, however, for 2018 and 2019 has the highest of all R senators (100% - 100%) of the American Conservative Union Federal Legislative Ratings.
For those, including the Dems and other experienced DC- watchers, who regard politics as a team sport, it is just unacceptable for members of the team to criticize the quarterback while on the field.
Trump's response should not come as a surprise to anyone.
Well, look on the bright side; at least Trump didn't "pounce" as Republicans are usually depicted.
Good! I cant tell how much disdain I have for effin Mittens!

He can attack Toomey any time he likes so far as I’m concerned. He keeps one of our Senate seats in the R column and that’s really the only good thing I can say about the guy.
Verbal jabs are ok. Toomey won by 1% in 2016. He’ll need help in 22’.
