BRIDGEWATER, MASS. (WHDH) - An East Bridgewater man accused of pulling a gun on another man for not wearing a mask into a pharmacy in Bridgewater is now facing charges.

Todd Goulston, 59, had been inside the store when he noticed the 30-year-old Abington man not wearing a mask and according to police, the argument escalated to Goulston pulling a gun out of his car and pointing it at the victim.

This potential level of dangerous insanity from mask wearing Karens/Todds, led my wife and I into deciding to discuss wearing cheap masks to avoid the dangerous Karins/Todds.

So, we ordered 50 cheap disposable face masks from Amazon, and they arrived yesterday. We will carry a couple in each vehicle to avoid the real viral dangers, Karens/Todds with guns, when we leave our vehicle.

We will wear the masks before going into any place requiring a mask.

We will keep the masks on until we leave the store and return to our vehicles and away from all of the dangerous Karens/Todds.

I pulled into Sheetz to fill up and some guy was walking his dog heading back to his car.
He probably mid-late 60s or so and was not wearing a mask.
I pulled into the pump and saw a lady with mask on come out of the store and approach the man.
I figured he (AND I once I got out) were going to get a ‘lecture’ about no mask.

To my SURPRISE and ‘utter joy’ she took the mask off, shook it out and HANDED IT TO HIM and he put it on and went into the store.

I am sitting there chuckling and when she finished tending to ‘bedding down’ the dog she turned to me and smiled.

“I saw what you did but I will NOT TELL” she laughed and said well,....I said I just tell them I have a condition (which I do) and I explained it to her as I showed her a mask I have JUST IN CASE I do run into a real Schiffhead in a store (employee) which is black and has a skull and crossbones with STAY AWAY FROM ME... I told her it was missing a word or two between Stay & Away but I wouldn’t go into detail and she said she wouldn’t either.

He came out and she was relaying the conversation and he handed her the mask and she threw it on the center console.

This is in VA and I think they had PA tags on so their gov is just as whacked up as ours.

I go maskless when possible. If someone were to say something to me about it, I’d just ignore them. I don’t like conflict. I’d continue ignoring them until (a)...their harassment becomes too abusive, or (b)...they touch me. Then I’d call the police.

Agreed. What concerns me are fellow Freepers who appear to be okay with a person pulling a gun on someone not wearing a mask. That is a very centralized-power, authoritarian and anti conservative/libertarian. They have similar ideas to people over at DU.

I have even encountered a couple of people who seem to be okay with the government running our lives. Agenda 21 stuff.

There are plenty of “Freepers” who fit that bill with the ideas you mention. Some have been here for years.

I suppose you can report them to a mod but that only works to a degree if they are dog-piled on a thread.

We’re not living in normal times in the slightest bit. So most people you will encounter are a few fries short of a happy meal anyways. Even here.

My nephew handled a Karen very well the other day. Jason is about 6’-4” and weighs about 250 lbs. This woman came up to him and demanded to know why he wasn’t wearing a mask. He said “ because I’m not a fuc*ing sheep!” She immediately slinked away.
