Self-proclaimed “gaffe machine” Joe Biden added several extra zeroes to the nation’s coronavirus death toll during a campaign stop in Pennsylvania — prompting President Trump to slam the prospective Democratic nominee’s “mortifyingly stupid” comment.
“People don’t have a job, people don’t know where to go, they don’t know what to do,” the former vice president said in Lancaster on Thursday, Fox News reported. “Now we have over 120 million dead from COVID.”
In reality, the death toll from the illness in the US stood at about 122,000, according to figures from Johns Hopkins University.
Biden, 77, did manage to catch himself when he uttered the flub, which didn’t make it into the pool video of the event, according to the news outlet.
The president seized on the verbal slip-up in a tweet.
“If I ever said something so mortifyingly stupid, the Fake News Media would come down on me with a vengeance,” Trump wrote. “This is beyond a normal mistake. Why isn’t the media reporting it?”
Steve Guest, the Republican National Committee’s national response chief, posted a clip of Biden’s blunder and wrote: “WHAT IS GOING ON WITH JOE BIDEN?”

I don’t get it, if it was Trump this would be all over the news, yet I haven’t seen one clip. In fact I saw CBS delicately splice snippets from his speech where he appeared to be reading the teleprompters normally. This gaffe was when he was speaking w/o a script, he’s toast come debate time, there is NO DOUBT he’s impaired, NONE.
Biden cannot remember things. His mind is gone.
There won’t be any debates. The COVID scamdemic will be convenient cover for Biden.
This will be a case study to see if the the left and state run media can actually run a “Jon Gil” for president and shield him from actual contact with the voters.
They did it with cankles to a certain extent but this will be unprecedented.
The next step will be to name a VP and let her do all the campaigning on the outside while Bidet stays in his basement.
Maybe. I believe the Democrats will demand unfair debate rules that Trump will not accept so they can blame Trump for the lack of debates.
Biden is the soup can we often joked about. You know, when we’d say you can run a soup can to beat such and such.
But there is an ominous twist to this one. Biden is so empty, so unable to control his mental abilities, that those that vote for him can imagine him as whatever they want him to be. Sound familiar? Yep, empty suit Obama had no real record, and people voted for what they wanted him to be, not what he was.
Be afraid, be very afraid.
So where is the media follow-up report that the funeral home business is up 10,000 % because of the China Flu? I would think they would want to talk about the silver lining in the casket.
