AP) – North Carolina’s governor has ordered people across the state to wear masks or other face coverings in public to fight the spread of COVID-19.
Gov. Roy Cooper issued an executive order Wednesday that people must wear face coverings in public when it’s not possible to maintain physical distance.
The order also mandates masks or other face coverings for employees of businesses including retailers and restaurants, as well as state employees in the executive branch.
Violations of Cooper’s executive orders are punishable by misdemeanor.

We just got back yesterday from spending a few days in Michigan where their dictator governor Whitman reinstituted mandatory masks for ANYONE who is in public.
I saw about a 15% compliance rate everywhere we went. Folks are fatigued by all this nonsense - and even if it could be proven without a doubt that masks would stop the virus dead in its tracks... people would still reject them. They are sick and tired of teh limits, the lies, and the propaganda.

Don’t worry, that’s only temporary as you’ll be sick soon, one way or the other.
Pass a law and stop with these executive orders already.

Exceptions.
This Executive Order does not require Face Coverings for-and a Face Covering does not need to be worn by-a worker, customer, or patron who:
1. Should not wear a Face Covering due to any medical or behavioral condition or disability (including, but not limited to, any person who has trouble breathing, or is unconscious or incapacitated, or is otherwise unable to put on or remove the face covering without assistance);
2. Is under eleven ( 11) years of age;
3. Is actively eating or drinking;
4. Is strenuously exercising;
5. Is seeking to communicate with someone who is hearing-impaired in a way that requires the mouth to be visible;
6. Is giving a speech for a broadcast or to an audience;
7. Is working at home or is in a personal vehicle;
8. Is temporarily removing his or her Face Covering to secure government or medical services or for identification purposes;
9. Would be at risk from wearing a Face Covering at work, as determined by local, state, or federal regulations or workplace safety guidelines;
10. Has found that his or her Face Covering is impeding visibility to operate equipment or a vehicle; or
11. Is a child whose parent, guardian, or responsible person has been unable to place the Face Covering safely on the child’s face.
Anyone who declines to wear a Face Covering for these reasons should not be required to produce documentation or any other proof of a condition.
I live in this dictator-led state.
Businesses all around me were already saying you had to wear a mask to get into the business.
This week I visited a neighbor and did not have on a mask. She acted as if I had leprosy.
People have gone nuts!
I have to tell you we all in CA. have the same demand by our useless governor Newsom, I honestly can’t breath in these damn things and i am having panic attics like someone who is claustrophobic OMG hot flashes and gasping for breath set in after about 5 minutes absolutely miserable!!!

Today was the first day since this whole shamdemic/plandemic started that I have had to wear a face mask for more than five minutes. I had to take a relative to an ER and then pick up ice bags and painkillers from the drugstore for her. The ER required mask. The drugstore may not have, but everyone was wearing one.
It was horrible. There were at least three times I almost fell, bumped into something, or hit my head because my glasses were fogging up and I wasn’t getting enough air to think straight and judge distances.
And this is with one of those paper medical supply masks, not a cloth one.
What few minutes I had to endure the thing, it was misery.
Yet the Karens want more and more and more.
I despise Karens.
I am really having a problem with the masks, I went to have my blood work I was the only one there I asked the guy working there if I could take off the mask, he said SURE no problem after about 3 minutes this woman comes in the door and starts SCREAMING because I don’t have my mask on!! OMG people HAVE really gone insane, this is entirely the media’s fault they have Americans in absolute HYSTERIA over this!!
I am with you - I can’t breathe well at all with a mask on and it does fog up my glasses.
I absolutely loathe these masks. When, dear God, will this oppression cease?

If we all stopped with masks and gloves today, there would be no change...in fact, we’d likely be even better off.
I saw someone at the gym today wearing a mask while exercising, a woman in her 60’s. She was non-obese. Unless she has some underlying condition, she is at greater risk from the foolishness of exercising with a mask on than she is from the COVID. Stupid is as stupid does.
Well, today is the first time I went into my food store with a standard old blue mask on. Previous to this, I was wearing an N-95. Much, much, much safer, they say - but it made me want to pass out and every red light in my brain was saying “GET THIS !@(*# THING OFF RIGHT NOW!”.
The cheap blue thing (made in China... hey, what could go wrong?) was much more comfortable (though still uncomfortable) but at least I felt like I was getting oxygen. Of course, that means I was also (potentially) getting the V-I-R-U-S... but, really, how long are we supposed to do this before everyone in the country becomes as mentally ill as the Democrats?

Masks are a nuisance but they are beneficial.
