President Trump’s campaign promised huge crowds at his rally in Tulsa, Okla., on Saturday, but it failed to deliver. Hundreds of teenage TikTok users and K-pop fans say they’re at least partially responsible.
Brad Parscale, the chairman of Mr. Trump’s re-election campaign, posted on Twitter on Monday that the campaign had fielded more than one million ticket requests, but reporters at the event noted the attendance was lower than expected. The campaign also canceled planned events outside the rally for an anticipated overflow crowd that did not materialize.
Tim Murtaugh, a spokesman for the Trump campaign, said protesters stopped supporters from entering the rally, held at the BOK Center, which has a 19,000-seat capacity. Reporters present said there were few protests.
TikTok users and fans of Korean pop music groups claimed to have registered potentially hundreds of thousands of tickets for Mr. Trump’s campaign rally as a prank. After the Trump campaign’s official account @TeamTrump posted a tweet asking supporters to register for free tickets using their phones on June 11, K-pop fan accounts began sharing the information with followers, encouraging them to register for the rally — and then not show.
The trend quickly spread on TikTok, where videos with millions of views instructed viewers to do the same, as CNN reported on Tuesday. “Oh no, I signed up for a Trump rally, and I can’t go,” one woman joked, along with a fake cough, in a TikTok posted on June 15.
Thousands of other users posted similar tweets and videos to TikTok that racked up millions of views. Representatives for TikTok did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

I personally think Brad Parscale taking TRUMP for ride...not that impressed with the continuous same twits...and that when you donate they never seem to know you’ve donated before...and consistently give you the same trinkets for donations? A Little cheesy...just saying...could same some money here and there for them! Initially I set up using my email address with password to donate...and the let me donate 3-4 time using that and then for some reason it got blocked and have never been able to access it again but still donating using same credit card but they can’t match the gifts to the same person going forward - duh for grand totals - duh?

I think that security and threats were partly to blame, as I saw the lines of people who couldn’t get in. In all honesty, I suspect a good number of people decided to enjoy the rally at home when they heard that over a million had requested tickets. Traffic, parking, crowds, heat, long lines, food and drink issues, washroom issues.....that’s a lot of people.

What was the crime committed here? Tickets were free to anyone who registered. Seats were not reserved and no one who registered was denied entry due to a lack of tickets. Do you also want to arrest the 900,000 Trump supporters who also requested tickets and didn’t bother to show up?

The crime: A coordinated act to interfere in a political campaign by means of deception and fraud.
'Tickets were free'. Does RICO only apply when money is involved?
Where in my original post did I say I wanted to arrest anyone who requested a ticket and didn't show up?
It should be investigated as RICO. If no one is charged the investigation would still expose the names of the people involved and the methods they employed.
Democrats have children lying for them now. Even a $2 administration fee would do it. 600 x $2 is $1200. That’s a bit of money to pay for playing tricks.
