They are already claiming the latest outbreak in Beijing came from New York City.

There was an article posted on FR very early on—I’m thinking early February—about testing Massachusetts sewage for COVID.
This thing has been around for a long time, and we’ve been taken for a long ride.

But the virus was likely here in late 2019.
I got whacked by a nasty sudden onset flu around January 12...several days of unending chills and a cough that wouldn't leave for three weeks.
Guess I'll donate some blood to the Red Cross to get an antibody test.

I was down and out with a 102 degree fever and horrible cough third week in December. Looking back maybe Covid 19.

That is not as implausible as it may sound. My wife has an ex grad student in HK who sent her a We-Chat posting about US Green Card holders that when the infections began to increase in NYC flew to Beijing to escape it. Now that the infections are increasing in Beijing they are returning to NYC.
Not a whole lot different than NYC scum bags fleeing to Florida
