Alanta police are walking off the job.
They are on the East and South sides. Predominately poor & black neighborhoods.
Good.
Good for them.
This is all part of the left’s plan to federalize all local police departments.
Not 1 minute after I started reading this thread I got a scanner alert for Atlanta on broadcastify. 4000+ listeners.
If leftists mobs drive CNN out of Atlanta, I plan to celebrate with champagne and caviar!
There are 12 police zones in Atlanta.
That’s the origin of the number 12 standing for the police in slang.
Remember some of the Antifa rioters spray painted “F**k 12” on buildings? It means: f**k the police.
Really can’t blame them

Yep, getting similar.
Atlanta will be begging for their cops back.

Just got this email from an Atlanta police officer:
“Atlanta police officers are refusing to answer the radio and walking off of the job. The county can go screw themselves. If you want a society without police well give you one. Let it burn!”
Anyone want to bet on the results of their idiocy?
I thought it was in reference to the TV show Adam 12.
Would be time for real riots, the big kind.
or Sheriff Rosco Purvis Coltrane from Duke of Hazards
Atlanta is located in a conservative state.
Nobody is supporting the police in any urban area. They’ll need to go to small town America in flyover country if they want any support.
I predicted two weeks ago when this thing started that the country is going to split into two. Red states and Blue states. It will a defacto separation with people emigrating to Red states. where Dem governors will not reside.
> Unionized. I call fake news. There is no way everyday working citizens can just walk off the job. <
It does happen. I worked for a time (5 years) in unionized steel mill. We all walked off the job once. Every last one of us. But it wasnt as bold as it sounds. We knew we werent going to get fired. The mill is filled with skilled tradesmen. You just cant hire those kinds of folks off the street. So we knew our jobs would still be there the next day.
That was a protest. But maybe these cops are actually quitting.
Side note: I understood the reasoning for that mill walkout. But I was not in favor of it. But if you dont go out, maybe youll have an accident in a dark corner of the mill about a week later.
Lol, Atlanta has been quite gentrified in the last two decades, with neighborhoods that were previously uninhabitable by civilized people being rebuilt by, ha ha, idealistic newcomers. A lot of folks are gonna be forced to confront cognitive dissonance directly, ie. Stuff is about to get real in Grant Park, EAV, Old Fourth Ward, Poncey Highlands. Good luck to thosefolks.

Make no mistake, this police officer is now facing the death penalty for one reason. His race.
This is misguided leftist retribution. This is not justice.
