The esteemed Baltimore City Council just passed a motion to cut the Baltimore Police Department budget by $22 million. The present placeholder mayor (because the previous one was marched off to jail) refused to veto it, so it stands. They want to eliminate the Mounted unit, the Marine unit, and other stuff. Of course, they want to spend the savings on "youth programs", meaning throwing the money into Chesapeake Bay.
Anyone want to bet on the results of their idiocy?
