World War 3: India slaughters 5 Chinese soldiers in bloody massacre- border tensions erupt

FIVE Chinese soldiers were killed and 11 injured during violent clashes at the China-India border, which has sparked fears of World War 3.

There were losses on both sides of the battle as one of the Indian army's officers and two soldiers were killed in a "violent faceoff" at Galwan Valley, one of the four clash points in the eastern Ladakh sector. These are the first reported casualties in decades to result from a clash between the nuclear-armed Asian giants. China has not yet confirmed the deaths or numbers of injured. India's army said on Tuesday senior military officials from both sides were meeting in a desperate bid to calm tensions.

exactly. This notion that India is some ally of ours is BS. Indians hate us, trust me...

That depends on how high or low India’s Godzilla Threshold is. If they start losing, India might start slinging nukes - and they have a particularly nasty delivery system in the BrahMos supersonic cruise missile.

Obviously The Express is in the bag for China. India also lost troops in the clash.

If actual shooting starts, the Indians will be beaten badly.

True. The Indians have had decades to bring their military to parity with the Chinese since their last border war, but if anything they've fallen even further behind the Chinese. Last I heard, their dysfunctional military procurement system failed to purchase needed fighter jets and they're looking to some primitive home-made plane.

They’re not toothless. 272 upgraded SU-30MKIs isn’t exactly nothing.

It’s worth remembering that these are the guys that took their SU-30MKIs and beat F-22s with them.

Which isn’t exactly primitive either. It’s a semi-stealthy design intended to be a light fighter, conceptually similar to our F-16 but updated for today.

Yes India might be stupid enough to launch nukes, but even there they are outnumbered at least 2-1, and China has proven anti missile defenses.

India has nothing.

Yes China would take a beating if it went nuclear, but India, would literally no longer exist as a nation state if it does.

Not to mention, if China and India were to go hot, It’s hard not to believe Pakistan would not take advantage of the situation and attack India from the west as well, provided they knew China would not act against them for it.

I used to consider most Chinese “indigenous” fighters as “pimped out” MiG-21s. I don’t know what the influences on the Tejas are, maybe the F-16?

The Indians have been busy with high altitude war versus Pakistan for years. Their Russian aircraft are being flown by well trained pilots and might challenge China in the air. Their artillery has lots of experience at altitude and the Chinese have little operational experience. Their officers are chosen by party bureaucrats. Don’t underestimate the Indian military.

China’s superior aircraft, electronics and armaments will result in a turkey shoot

Which "superior" aircraft? Also I doubt if the J20s, if that unknown entity lives up to the deliberately created hype, have the legs to take off from beyond the Himalayas and reach the border areas without refuelling. Any aircraft based on the plateau will be severely degraded in fuel and payload. And India uses Israeli and French electronics. Not going to be a turkey shoot.

China is the enemy, therefore the Western media loves it?

Were I in charge and ordered to plan a strike, I’d make sure Pakistan goes away as well. In for a penny, etc.

China has missile defenses, but they’re oriented towards their eastern coast at the moment, and built to deal with slow American cruise missiles or generic ballistic missiles. The BraMos is neither and it’s out of the engagement envelope for a lot of China’s systems. And the closest big target to India is a doozie - the Three Gorges Dam. Which, interestingly, doesn’t actually have much by way of air defenses...

Just because its made in India? LOL. American engine, Indian Israeli and French radars and weapons systems. Soon to have an AESA radar with Israeli and Indian BVR AAMs. Its not the F-22 it will have to fight. Mainly the JF-17 Thunder of the PAF. Another F-16 wannabe. With a Russian engine and Chinese everything else.
