How bad is the tension getting out there on the streets these days in the midst of all of the unrest, protests and rioting? According to a new survey from Rasmussen Reports, more than one-third of likely voters in America believe that a second civil war is likely within in the next five years. As depressing as that may sound, its an uptick from people who felt that way in recent years. And unsurprisingly, there are marked differences in the crosstabs as to who is more likely to feel that away along both party affiliation and racial lines. Considering how the first one went, I kind of hope that nobody is really seeing this as a good thing, even if you feel it looks inevitable. (Rasmussen Reports)
With race-driven anti-police protests nationwide, one-in-three voters continue to believe America is on the brink of another civil war. Blacks are the least optimistic that the protests will lead to positive change but the most supportive of removing Confederate symbols from public display.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 34% of Likely U.S. Voters think the United States will experience a second civil war sometime in the next five years, but that includes only nine percent (9%) who say its Very Likely. This compares to 31% and 11% respectively two years ago
As recently as last November, 73% of American Adults said Americans should be proud of the history of the United States. But 32% of Democrats share New York Governor Andrew Cuomos view that were not going to make America great again. It was never that great.
In something of a positive note, while more than a third think another civil war is likely, in the next five years, only 9% said it was very likely. Still, 25% said it was somewhat likely, which should be worrisome.
It will be an insurrection between globalists who want to separate Americans from America, and loyal Americans who want to keep America for themselves.

I don't like negative fake news. Like that poll that was announced, saying Biden is ahead of Trump by 17 percent; but they polled less than 25 percent republicans. So in reality, they couldn't get the 75 percent non-republicans to go for Biden, and many of those supported Trump instead. It's all in how they twist and spin the narrative to make their fake news.
“Between who?”
Exactly. If there is a real definitive separation right now, it’s a ‘town vs gown’ type of separation (e.g. academics, the media, self-described intellectuals vs the essential workers - professional and otherwise.
Some of you dont like negative news. Rasmussen has Trump approval at negative 13 points (vs disapproval).
And found 62% view Black Lives Matter positively.

I’ve always given credence to Rasmussen. This has me very concerned.
And that would kick it off, once one of the 60% or so of the LEO in any jurisdiction gives a tip, calls in sick, and lets some of his range buddies take care of the weirdos on the SWAT team... There would be a lot of blue on blue if those orders ever got issued.
I used to go to church with a man that said he would “never” enforce an unconstitutional order.
The only part that bothered me was when I asked him “what if they package it up as OK constitutionally and all legal?” He genuinely thought about it and said “I guess that would depend on how they went about that.”
A lot of LEO and military will break both ways; I would suspect most the shooters will be on our team...
Question is, what are the sides?
Left vs right?
White vs black?
Left and blacks vs right?
??
The libs are way overplaying their hand.
More headlines like the New York Police defunding their anti-crime unit might get President Trump elected for a third term.
I will consider it a revolutionary war because we are really fighting world dominance. If we can avoid the divide, we can avoid the conquer.
“Is coming”? Hell, it’s here.
No its not. Takes 2 sides to have a war. Our side decided their badass guns and ammo are too precious to use to defend liberty. Rather want to have braging rights on the number of them they own to make up for lack of balls.

Sooner than that if the left steals the election.
“If the looting and rioting move from the business centers into residential areas, I could definitely envision an armed response meeting them and bloodshed taking place.”
Already happening. The Mexicans have set up roadblocks and barricades to defend their neighborhoods and businesses, manned by Mexican gangs armed with AKs. The BLM racists are getting their asses kicked. The BLM has been trapped since May 31 and can’t break out.
Correct. Nothing like the last Civil War, and certainly not "civil". An insurrection of anarchists against loyalists who want to preserve the U.S.A. as a nation, not just for ourselves but for those who support what we hold dear. At some point, there needs to be a forceful rebellion against the anarchists, probably won't happen until a lot of loyalist citizens are killed (sadly).
Let’s just say I am on full alert.
I’m surprised it’s only 1/3. Especially since it’s already started.
“Cops would be deployed to arrest the suburbanites who defend themselves.”
That’s funny as hell.
Cops in big, liberal cities have already retreated and headed back home to protect their own fat asses and their pensions.
Given the current level of BS being shoved off on LEO your item 2 is spot on correct.
I can see a very likely scenario of LEO passing intel to locals as to locations and makeup of anything headed their way.
There are not enough LEO to arrest those defending themselves, nor are there enough LEOs to stop attackers BUT if the LEOs combine with the defenders a group of disorganized rioters will have their butts handed to them.
.
For anyone bothering to read they found that 2% more from two years ago think this.
That’s it.
It is begun and only one side is fighting at the moment. The other side has no leadership and is afraid to respond appropriately because the police are effectively on the side of the Revolutionaries. Many will come around and many sheriffs but it will have to get a lot worse first.
Who does the military support in this Civil War?
