Ignore this foolishness. It’s like turning on CNN and taking Cuomo seriously.
Because the riots are not in their suburbs, pilates studio or their kids soccer fields. All those women are insulated from that and don’t think it’ll ever come to their doorstep.
Then again, these are the women that fill the seats for The View, The Real, Ellen, Wendy Williams and all the other morning and afternoon shows. All giddy, laughing and clapping like trained seals.
I was a detective with the Atlanta Police Department, years ago. Went to Fulton Cty Grand Jury on a regular basis and got to know many of the ADAs working there. Most of them were hardworking folks that wanted to put the bad guy in jail. The actual DA is a POS, but that is for another thread.
One thing the ADAs were consistent during all the times I went was, they loved having Grand Jury members that were from the city, preferably from the high crime areas. They were the ones that lived with the BS every day and had no problem voting in favor of an indictment. They weren’t the rich suburban folks from North Fulton County that were insulated from all the problems of inner city Atlanta. They had “compassion” because they weren’t effected by the criminal behavior.
Quick story .... I made a case involving drugs and guns. Black guy sitting down at the end of the jury box, kind of away from everyone else, just stared at me. Answered a few questions from the rest of the jury and was about to get up. Black raises his hand and out of nowhere he says: “Officer, thank you. I live on that street and see those guys out there every day.” .... Needless to say, I was kind of in shock. All the whitey’s on the jury look stunned. They dinged the bell before I even closed the door behind me, on the way out.
Wealth and being far removed from that stuff insulates them. If/when something happens in their neighborhood, it’s dealt with swiftly and, in some cases, severely.
I don’t believe it either. I suspect that most women realize lawlessness and no police is not a good thing for women. There is only one party that supports those things and it is not Trump’s party.
The key question is:
....and who do you think your neighbor would vote for?
