Next up: All states, districts, counties, cities, universities, schools, military bases, ships, streets, squares, parks. sports teams, etc, named after Columbus, Washington, Jefferson, Madison, Lee (or any other Confederate officer or dignitary) must be renamed.
And all statues, monuments, memorials, plaques, historical markers, cemeteries, battlefields, etc, referring to the above pulled down or like Hitler said about a WWI monument in Paris, blown up.
All pictures, paintings, drawings, illustrations, books, movies, plays, videos, documentaries, museums, money, coin collections, stamps, stamp collections, etc, must be airbrushed or burned as Stalin and Hitler did.
If you get caught with a likeness of any of the above persons in your wallet, it's off to the gulags for you.
Oh, yeah, and Arlington Cemetery? That is on the grounds of Robert E. Lee, so must be blown up.
Mount Rushmore? Blow it up.
The Declaration and Constitution? Poof.
Our flag and our anthem? Burn 'em.
George Washington Carver? Gotta go.
It's the Marxist/fascist totalitarian way.
Oh, and about that fictional guy in the sky and the houses you've built to worship him...
Every little bit helps, even small protests. We have to go after these people and get in their faces.
“Every since 2016, Ive worked the election polls. New to my community, I saw another flying a dont tread on me flag near the end of the street. Sent a letter asking for a sit down. My mission: start a neighborhood watch.”
Ah. Success?
If Militias were going to do anything, they would have already. I thought they would act 30 years ago, they didn't and I am too old now to care or fight, what ever happens now happens.
Here a local affiliate is using the bandwagon technique. Change, they say, is coursing throughout the country, people are demanding that something be done, it can’t be stopped, it is a tsunami sweeping all things before it.
Are you really that ignorant?
An odd criticism to make. Barry Goldwater voted against the Civil Rights Act. Ronald Reagan spoke out against it. At one time American conservatives valued individual freedom over government compulsion. I guess that boat sailed long ago.
I remember arguing with my dad over the 64 act. He said that the social programs would eliminate individual initiative and creativity and destroy a persons independence. I remember his white shirt turned away from me as he said this, sleeves rolled up and arms on the table. Both arms.
It just hit me that he rarely put both arms on that white, wooden table.
All these years later...still teaching me.
Hubert Humphrey begged Goldwater to vote for it. Goldwater said it would lead to quotas. Humphrey said I was impossible he specifically put language in that would prevent that went on to say if it happened he would eat the bill. The bill was passed. Creative lawyering later gutted Humphrey’s language. Goldwater was proved right, but by then Humphrey was dead.
A number of retired liberal military have spoken out...but not the large numbers of active where it really counts.
Goldwater and Reagan weren’t KKK members.
KKK membership wasn’t your lone indictment. You quite obviously thought failing to endorse the Civil Rights Act to be a problem.
The Civil Rights Act is a problem for Democrats. So a Democrat who voted against it has a problem.
I’ve bought four guns in less than a week. And ammo. We are going to descend to liberal enclaves surrounded by red zones. We will defend our red zones. It is the new north-south divide for Civil War II which has clearly already started.
Conservatives of the early 1960s saw it for the thought control/power grab that it is. You simply won’t find conservatives of that day approving of the Civil Rights Act. It was passed by Rockefeller Republicans joining with Lyndon Johnson.
Today we have Rush and Hannity boasting that the GOP passed the Civil Rights Act as if it was a conservative victory. Hard to imagine anything more clueless. Those two get a pass because they often know as little history as anyone else.
Because We The People are still sane.
How many of us are there though?
There’s no one who cares about that. Maybe some buffoonish Republicans who imagine it’s an issue when it’s not. The Democrats who voted against it are the now extinct conservative wing.
Your dad was a smart man.
You are a charmer. Thanks for the imput.
